It would appear as though Sporky has crawled back into his hole in the frozen wastes of Canada again.
No doubt he'll ooze his way out into this group at some point in the future to continue his unproven, inane religiousosity and general dark-ages clap-trap.

What? Someone calls you a "brainless chump" and you can't reply? . I was unaware there was a protocol. To be so well versed, it must happen to you quite often.

The despair of the Atheist? Atheists KNOW their fate, we don't have to worry about going to HELL, that is purely in the imagination of the Theist I don't see you responding to this, Sporky, hence the copy. Very well, I'll bite: What hope do you possess beyond the grave? Despair, is the absence of hope. *Incidently, Christians don't worry about Hell, either. Hell is separation from God; people decide that willfully. It's not punishment; it's consequence.

Look, meat heads... Personal faith is specific to the Individual. (That's what the 'personal' part means) You will never have certainty on the issue of God; because it would diminish your capacity for free choice. But if the truth be known, do you really want to know?
I can't provide you with YOUR reasons to believe in God; I can only explain MY reasons. I have thought about Atheism, and found that it was inadequate in explaining the existence of logic and reason in the universe.
Simply put: I find that Theism is true; because Atheism is impossible. I could explain further, but I don't think any of you ready to hear what I have to say, evidenced by your jeering, sneering and mocking remarks.
When you mature from schoolyard antics, perhaps I'll indulge you then.

Please don't waste it. I beg to differ ... a circle is a mathematical construct defining a shape that ... by definition, has no corners. Actually, if you were to state that every point on the circle was it's own corner, then the opposing view could be defended. You are too close-minded

It is also a representation of a mathematical construct. Try again. And perfect circles are only conceptual by nature, ergo..

And perfect circles are only conceptual by nature, ergo.. "only conceptual" ... now you've got the idea! So as a concept, it can be said that a circle has an innumerable amount of corners...

So as a conception it can be said that a circle has an innumerable amount of corners... No, by definition, a circle has no corners. By your definition. Mathematically, it can have many.

Atheist despair = verified. Not despair, rather: acceptance. Semantics. Acceptance of what? Annihilation? That sounds a lot like despair.

By your definition. Mathematically, it can have many. No, it can have none. A circle is a simple closed shape in Euclidean geometry. It is the set of all points in a plane that are at a given distance from a given point, the centre; equivalently it is the curve traced out by a point that moves so that its distance from a given point is constant. The distance between any of the points and the centre is called the radius. A circle is a simple closed curve which divides the plane into two regions: an interior and an exterior. In everyday use, the term "circle" may be used interchangeably to refer to either the boundary of the figure, or to the whole figure including its interior; in strict technical usage, the circle is only the boundary and the whole figure is called a disc. A circle, by definition ... cannot have "corners" ... a circle is, by definition, round. "The contour of a closed curve or surface with no sharp corners, such as an ellipse, circle, rounded rectangle, or sphere." Graphically speaking (or any actual "real" man made circle) a "perfect" circle is impossible to obtain. Drawn on a sheet of paper there will be tiny, even microscopic ridges, which will form corners. On a computer the display is still only binary and breaks down to tiny squares. In a machine shop a piece of steel on a lathe will still have "grain" and material imperfections. Even if you consider a bubble, it has sag because it is affected by gravity, so it's not even really a circle (or sphere), it's an ovoid. Thus I'm sticking with the "innumerate corners" answer for anything we call a "Circle". ...Since it is the only physical example possible.

A circle, by definition has no corners. A "representation" is just that, an imperfect representation of a circle. You keep saying that as though it were meaningful. Point is, there are no perfect circles in physical existence, in OUR reality, they have corners. Whether you want to admit it or not.

I am not going in circles, I am going upwards. The staircase is spiral; I have already climbed many steps. Is that staircase yet another facet of your irrational god delusion? The alleged 'circles' are your concept, not mine. They originated from YOUR mind. ...Are these actual circles, or figurative ones? If actual then you are the one with the delusion; if figurative, your epistemology just died on it's own sword. ...Since you can't prove it actually exists
