If it was good enough for Roz Kelly to lose her head over pork barreling then more so with Gladys who wasn't pork barreling for the party, she was secretly pork barreling for her lover boy so he would benefit financially, as he did with Badgerys Creek where Gladys gave him insider knowledge and others in her network.
The story isn't about partisan winning votes for the party as the party itself didn't see the merit in funding clubs, concert halls and hospital in that area, it was for boyfriends benefit so he could gain financially to be in with his crooked mates....<got that, see the difference.
So why the hell are people glossing over those simple facts and claim Gladys is free from criminal activity when her boyfriend was up to his neck in...?...when she did more than turn a blind eye to his activities, she actively enabled McGuire.
To answer the question...because the RW are dumb, gullible and ignorant and believe any frogshit they are told when it comes from RW arena...no other explanation.

Everywhere... A good strip is from Perth to Dongara...Use The Inian Ocean Drive....go to Lancilin or Jurion Bay but Dongara and Port Denison are the best... Actually the question was more serious than you might have thought. The SA south east coast is great for fresh lobster, especially Robe, but also the Eyre peninsula. In fact the whole bloody SA coastline is fabulous for seafood. Spencer Gulf prawns are wonderful. We’re due to make a second attempt at travelling to your fair state to visit people we know & love and also to go on a bit of a road trip and spend our retirement income helping the economies of your south coast towns. Seems to me that since the Southern Ocean coastline of WA has a lot in common with the SA Southern Ocean coastline the seafood would be just as abundant and just as good. So I look forward to tucking into some fresh lobster over a couple of lunches washed down with a nice Margaret River riesling. So thank you for the tip! It’s duly noted! If you’re going to be in the south west, get into some Marron. delicious.

A anonymous minster decides its a great abuse of power to investigate Gladys are her close links to McGuire....such is fucknut thinking.
This is taxpayers money that was being abused by the coalition ...questions of culpability need to be answered.

Here's a tip: Governments decide where funds are spent - those who lobby loudest win. Boardrooms decide where funds are spent - departments who lobby loudest win. University department heads decide where funds are spent - those who lobby loudest win. Councils decide where funds are spent - those who lobby loudest win. As Derryn* Hinch used to say : "That's life." * Darren or Darryl to Bob Hawke.

Eddie Obeid, Ian MacDonald and Roz Kelly did nothing wrong then.

Eddie Obeid, Ian MacDonald and Roz Kelly did nothing wrong then. Eddie Obeid literally used his office to enrich himself. He profited. What money did Gladys Berejiklian receive? Yes, she probably should have dumped her boyfriend, perhaps report him to the ICAC. But no crime has been committed on her part. She secured $170 million for a new hospital in the town of Tumut. How is that criminal? I think the people of that town love that the money went their way.

Therefore Ian Macdonald who enabled Obeid to enrich himself is innocent....all above board pork barreling. Ros..<not Roz....didn't profit from her partisan sports pork barreling using a white board with others in her office, she was forced to resign. Gladys secretly enabled McGuire to enrich himself with millions and some how she is not guilty...yeah right...

Obeid has just been sent back to jail. Look them up. Scumbags of the highest order. Gladys on the other hand will NOT be going to jail. That's the difference.

Drugs is my guess. 40 years ago our nice friends from Lebanon were heroin dealers. They started off in South Australia though. I don't know why all the dregs bump into us... I was only thinking the other day, we must be shit magnets.

Lining her boyfriends pockets and not declaring a conflict of interest is a crime against public trust.
She was using her position to benefit her boyfriend who was introducing property developers to land he didn't own and make $1.5 mill, land info given to him by Gladys.
Gladys response to the people was you don't need know that...I decide who knows what.
Her head stuck her behind that she though she could do what she likes...and still does.
ICAC is not a law body what they will find is misconduct by Gladys and while not against the law as such she has broken parliamentary rules not to declare McGuire.
It may go further in law when ICAC finishes...that is yet to be decided.

Gladys isn’t facing any criminal charges. ICAC isn’t a criminal court. In the case of Obeid and MacDonald criminal charges were laid as a result of ICAC proceedings but the charges were brought against Obeid and MacDonald by the Director of Public Prosecutions. The transcripts of the ICAC proceedings were tendered as evidence but they didn’t constitute the substantive criminal charges per se. ICAC was set up by a Liberal state government to serve as a commission of enquiry into the conduct of elected officials and public servants in the discharge of their public duty, in other words to shine a bright light into dark corners. What Ponto says is correct and if ICAC finds that Gladys acted improperly it will say so and give its reasons. If the ICAC report prompts the DPP to conclude that Gladys or Dazza from Wagga has a case to answer before a court of law then the DPP will take it from there. It won’t be down to ICAC.
What’s remarkable Matt is that for someone who takes such a keen and close interest in current affairs and politics, you’re amazingly ignorant of how the system works.

In another, she says a public servant would be sacked, but only after he "fixed" a grant proposal Mr Maguire was advocating for.
She agreed the pair loved each other, contemplated marriage and discussed having a child, but denied Mr Maguire constituted a family member.
By using her power to enable lover boy to line his pockets is betrayal of trust to the people of NSW and tax payers money...no if's or buts or poor lil Gladys....how many other MP's could phone up Gladys and shout at her I want this done and that done..none.

He apparently started driving taxis and then went into property development! Quite a big jump hey? But yes, those Lebs are always looking for a way to make money. Even the Maronites like Eddie. And they find those ways by fair means or foul - most usually foul.

I'm not saying that Gladys didn't act quite stupidly with Maguire. She was certainly a victim of his coercion - and that suggests a bit of desperation on her part. And to be discussing having children seems a bit odd when you're 45. The whole affair seems to be a bit of madness on her part. If she'd had more experience with men she would have seen right through him. That doesn't excuse her though although most women will have some understanding of that sort of toxic relationship.

Yes I agree! I think there will be a lot of politicians really worried about that. It doesn't seem right that personal conversations can be recorded and kept for all those years.
I'd like to know who authorised that.
