I am so glad she is looking after herself after an intense time as premier. Bushfires, floods and COVID-19, she deserves some R&R: /

Gladys kept her affair secret with McGuire when all around her had to declare...Why is the question.

Because it wasn't an affair .... and he was just using her friendship.

It wasn't an affair it was a long term relationship and that relationship only ended when McGuire came up before ICAC.
She had the attitude she knew best when it came to funding and above the law.
And she could have disclosed her relationship at anytime when a conflict of interest came up with McGuire, she didn't and she isn't there to do what she likes as Premier or treasurer.

I don't care what they say about her or what their findings are. I still love her and if I was in her seat if she goes federal, I would vote for her.

So what is the ICAC getting at? Politicians are not able to push for the funding of projects and infrastructure? That it is all entirely a bureaucratic process?
The government was facing a by-election and therefore did make promises to fund certain things. That isn't a crime. In fact, it would be wrong for the government not to deliver on what it campaigned on.
Should we dismiss everything political candidates say? When Labor says it is going to build certain infrastructure during an election campaign, the promise should be taken with a grain of salt as it doesn't have the tick of approval from the bureaucracy? NO NO NO!

How cruel, parading her very private and intimate relationship in public. Shame on the ICAC.
Newsflash: Pork barrelling is NOT ILLEGAL, all politicians are involved.
At the next federal election, when Albo is out there standing next to Daniel Andrews promising funding for a hospital inside a marginal electorate, will that be corrupt? I mean, that wouldn't have gone through the bureaucratic process or their tick of approval. Or should we consider such promises as tongue in cheek as it would be corrupt to go ahead with the funding once the election is won?
There was a by-election in Wagga and the coalition needed to keep that seat so Gladys threw money at it. I am so sick of this bullying of her.

Is Mad Matt starting to show the outrage that is so much his hallmark in his frenzied existence dedicated to the cause of Permanent Culture War? Yes I do believe the hair is starting to show faint signs of dishevelment. It can’t be long now before traces of spittle will begin to be evident around his mouth and the wild “Rasputin” look of the fanatic will become evident in his eyes. Watch this thread …

What people are missing is that Gladys pushed McGuire's demands through cabinet ...funding he would not have got if it went through proper parliamentary channels....pork barreling or not.
If it was normal procedure find elsewhere where she had done the same...it cannot be found.
She used her power, influence and privilege to look after McGuire her boyfriend and the people around her threatening bureaucrats, and certainly not acting for all of NSW as she claimed.
Anyone else their heads would have rolled...but because it is Gladys it is acceptable to act with criminal behaviour.
