I am mid 40's now and yes I do remember VERY hot days in summer with lot of storms. My parents often talk about how hot it was when they were kids in the 50's. It was fahrenheit (sp) back then and they said it wasn't uncommon for it to be 110 for days at a time.

and it's not just Australia. We have seen unprecedented Snowing in the Mid-East. Flooding in Europe and the States... All pointers to AGW.

I believe in Climate Change. Not sure I believe in man made Global Warming though. It got to 43 here today...hottest on record for this day is 43.4. Driest January on record for my area is 2.6mm....we have already had that so we won't be making any records for lack of rainfall for January...even though we desperately need more.

According to HG everyone must have imagined all of those previous heat waves and bushfires. I think he be believes that the global warming boogey man is coming for him ;D

Facts remain that climate scientist have forecasting for decades that global temperatures will rise with increased CO2 levels, and it has, this no accident or coincidence and the future forecast is for avg temperatures to rise to at least 2 deg by 2050 if not more, depends on what humans do now.
Since 1980 increased extreme weather events have risen 50%, and sea levels have risen 50mm, I am 58 yrs old and over the decades having lived on the coast, the erosion that is taking place over the last 2-3 years is unprecedented, causing a great deal of concern for councils and government.
Only the RW are gullible enough to disagree with the science consensus that this climate change is a human made condition from increased CO2 and CH4 production and blithely think its all natural events, or think the disinformation fiction from RW think tanks that are soley designed to discredit climate science is more preferable than the reality we are being warned about, yet these RW cannot state what is driving the current climate change....even though they have been continuosly asked to tell us what is driving climate change if not increased greenhouse gases made by human activity....this isn't naivity displayed by such people, its blatant ignoring the facts, and history has shown us such people as happens with impending calamity as eg; even when the ship is sinking will say everything is OK nothing to worry about..she's right.
