We all know what style underwear Mitt Romney and his wife wears every single day without fail: These are magic Mormon undies.

Matty-boy....why do you have this unhealthy fixation with what one of the contenders for the US Presidency wears in the way of underwear? Is this some weird fetish of yours or something? Is it a Hillsong thing?

Is it a Hillsong thing? It is Mormonism. They are required to wear these garments, because they believe they provide protection to them.

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and other fundamentalist sects of Mormonism, the temple garment is a set of special underwear worn by male and female Latter-day Saints who have taken part in the washing and anointing ceremony in a Mormon temple. Underwear:The temple garment (formally the (OUTER) "Garment of the Holy Priesthood" or informally, "the garments") symbolizes the "coats of skins" which Jehovah made for Adam and Eve before casting them out of the Garden of Eden (Gen. 3:21). Latter-day Saints who have been endowed in the temple are expected to wear the (UNDER) garment under their clothes every day, as a reminder of special promises or covenants to God. On a practical level, it also serves as a guide to modest dressing — a woman could hardly wear a tank top and a miniskirt while wearing the temple garment, nor could a man go publicly shirtless. Spiritually, the garment is believed to be a "shield and protection" against the powers of evil (and sometimes against physical harm, according to some Latter-Day Saints). Latter-Day Saints are typically clothed in the temple garment and the outer temple clothing when they are buried after their death. gavas.com/Things_that_simply_do_not_add_up.htm

This could become an issue if Ann Romney is seen as less glamorous than the stunning Michelle Obama. It's impossible to imagine MO in that outfit. How could you look at Ann at an Inauguration Ball, knowing that that was under her gown.

I think the "stunning" michelle obama would be the kind of woman that grabs your nuts and twists them until you do what she says.

She is certainly the most beautiful first lady in history. She is both a LEFTIE and a DARKIE. Garfield's inbuilt “racist” programming must cause him to hate that, eh?

we were talking about Mormon underdacks. How did it get to this? Buzz it might have to do with the utter boring-as-batshit quality of the topic of Mormon underdaks. I mean seriously, I've seen you over the years pursue all sorts of (metaphorical) rabbits down all sorts of burrows. But never ever have I witnessed you express the slightest scintilla of interest in Mormon foundation garments. Until now. Now yes I agree it was Matt who, bizarrely, raised the topic. But you're the one pursuing it. Now I put it to you that pulchritudinous consorts of various American heads of state is a much more interesting topic than the lingerie of bloody Mormons! I mean, I have thus far spent 65 years on this planet totally unaware of the types of jocks or knickers or long johns that Mormons are required to wear (how do they police this requirement? No, on second thoughts let's not go there! ), or even that they had rules & regs on underwear! I could easily have spent whatever time is left to me before I shuffle off this mortal coil in blissful ignorance of what Mitt and Ann Romney might be wearing under their outward clobber. Trust me, we really don't need to know!!

No, you're passing water!! As Kevin Rudd is wont to say ... " 'tis passing strange ..."
A propos of KR: "programmatic specificity" is probably a euphemism for something but I'm buggered if i know what it is!!

Trust me, we really don't need to know!! Mormons are very judgemental and every time Mitt Romney appears on TV they would be looking to see if he was wearing his "Gs" (geez). This undershirt might look like any other, but to a mormon it is confirmation that he is wearing his GEEZ.

Pulchritude possesses solely epidermal profundity. = Beauty is skin deep. I couldn't have put it better myself Speaking strictly as one bombast to another
