I believe religious private schools should receive absolutely no State funding, because schools should be based purely on secular ideals. Religion should not be taught, because that is for the home and place of worship. It is a private matter and tax payers should not foot the bill.
Scripture should be banned and replaced with ethics classes, and school chaplains removed from schools and replaced with youth workers.

Buzz...you have no idea what ALL children want. How you can possibly say "None of the kids want to learn that stuff"? Do you know every child in the world and what they want??

You know, you could practice what you preach, by not posting all the crap you do about being a Christian, and how the rest of us are going to hell because we are not Christians, Jesus.

Sunday school was great until they age discriminated us and sent us 12 yr olds to the church next door.. Church was boring.. it was much more fun making animals to go in Noahs ark than singing those complicated church songs that weren't real trendy pop music. I just had to give church away until I was old enough to want to know what the Bible said.

Private school's should be private with no public funding. So you'd be happy to see your taxes increased significantly to pay for the influx of students back to the already crowded public system?

Australia was 3rd best education levels in the world, until Johnnie Howard stated you were not a good patent unless you had your kid in a Private school....now since increased Private education Australia benchmarks have fallen to 26th in the world.
Private schooled kids will vote conservative and become elitst hate filled drongo's while Australia loses its egalitarian nature....just a mini USA.

You wouldn't like what they teach kids thesedays, Garfy. They teach something you've demonstrated a complete lack of, logic and reasoning.
