If proved, this is outrageous!! Asylum seekers housed in student accommodation at a Sydney university! How desperate is the Labor govt that the Immigration Dept is putting female students at risk of attack?? And why such an increase in Sri Lankan asylum seekers?? They are not coming from a war zone or dictatorship! Most of the Sri Lankans coming are Tamils and they say they were "enticed" here by promises of jobs with the Australian govt! 80 asylum seekers housed in Sydney uni By Nathan Klein The Daily Telegraph February 22, 2013 9:22AM  RADIO announcer Ray Hadley has called on the Federal Government for a detailed report and explanation after he revealed 80 asylum seekers have been living inside the grounds of a Sydney university. On his radio show this morning, Hadley said approximately 80 Sri Lankan men were living at student accomodation inside Macquarie University. "In the grounds of the university there are two dorm buildings housing young women - those dorms are surrounded by the dormitories containing the 80 Sri Lankan men,'' Hadley said. "According to people I've spoken to at the university, the young women feel both intimdated and frightened by having the men in close proximity. Some are in fact scared and conveyed that to police officers on the scene yesterday.'' He claimed police officers were also investigating an attack on one of the young women by a "dark skinned male". Hadley called on the Immigration Department to provide a report into why the university was doubling as "some sort of a Quasi detention centre". |

Please, please make it soon!! I hope Ray Hadley starts getting some answers from these Labor cretins that think they govern for us. Why are they increasing the numbers of Sri Lankans?? The numbers should be decreasing. As these asylum seekers stated, they are coming because they were promised jobs in the Australian govt. Can you believe it!! Actually, probably, yes.  |

Im not sure if theyre a cultural threat to women, maybe others have info on that, we know that muslim refugees are, and we also do know that Indians in general seem to be figuring prominently in sexual assaults on women round the burg..a police detective at my gym did tell me that 3/4 of the time theyre looking for a unsub suspect for sexual attack on a woman, theyre looking for a Southern Asian suspect.
Even the cab drivers seem to have trouble keeping their hands to themselves somewhat.
I have two thoughts on the Sri Lankan Tamils.
Are they having a lend of us claiming they are coming here because of oppression/danger/persecution???
Of course, absolutely no doubt theyre exploiting the conflict in SR as an excuse for a ticket out of the place and into the First World...anyone who isnt retarded or a lying fucken refugee advocate KNOWS that.
But on the other hand, i was never fully comfortable with classifying TT as terrorist org, insofar as that affects US.
Ive never heard of a TT attack on other than Sinhalese Sri Lankans.
they might be coming here to take us for a ride,-who isnt--- but theyre not a security threat to us in the bargain, like most of the rest of the vermin we are taking on, from A-stan, iran, Iraq, Syria,Libya, for example, IS a security threat ongoing.

Men are now, or perhaps always were also victims of sex crimes just the same as women... our children of both gender are not safe. |

Well we certainly won't get any intelligent debate out of you Pim whilst you have your head firmly in the sand. You lefties simply ignore anything detrimental about your beloved Labor party and how they are ruining the country.
Labor has absolutely no idea what to do with their asylum seekers. For a start, these asylum seekers are not coming here because of persecution. From their own mouths we learn that they are coming because of "promised" jobs with the Australian govt.
If it wasn't for people like Ray Hadley, all of this would be hushed up.

EIGHTY asylum seekers will be questioned by police hunting a man over an alleged sexual assault on a female student at Macquarie University as concerns are raised over housing asylum seekers in student accommodation.
Students were furious yesterday after the alleged early morning sexual assault on the student, 20, in the university's accommodation village, which also has been housing asylum seekers in adjacent units when student demand dries up.
As Immigration Minister Brendan O'Connor went to ground and declined to comment on the issue, opposition immigration spokesman Scott Morrison accused Labor of dumping asylum seekers into communities without consultation after failing to stop the flow of boats.
Police said they were hunting an intruder who allegedly broke into the apartment - shared with four other females - about 3.20am yesterday, indecently assaulting the sleeping student and fleeing when she awoke, screaming.
The man was described as being aged 20-25, with a thin build, dark skin and dark short curly hair.
The Red Cross, Macquarie University and accommodation operator Campus Living Villages yesterday attempted to hose down suggestions the perpetrator was an asylum seeker, insisting they had no evidence that was the case.
But it emerged the village was a participant in the government's taxpayer-funded, Red Cross-run program, housing asylum seekers for stays of up to six weeks under the bridging visa scheme.
The victim's townhouse is surrounded by units housing asylum seekers, with up to five people in each unit and about 900 residents in the village.
Students, including a friend of the victim, said they were afraid of the asylum seekers.
"Why would the uni put a house full of girls next to asylum seekers?' There are so many other places they could live," the friend said.
A first-year female student, who arrived this week from the US, said she felt intimidated.
"(Police) will speak to as many people as they can, and I am sure that group of refugees will be among them," a police spokesman said.
The story was broken by 2GB's Ray Hadley, who demanded answers from the government about why the university was doubling as "some sort of a quasi-detention centre".
Mr Morrison said it was clear the government could not cope with the continuing flow of asylum seekers.
"The government has no idea where all these people are," he said.
The Department of Immigration directed inquiries to the Red Cross. A Red Cross spokeswoman said: "There is no suggestion at this time by police that a Red Cross client is connected with this incident."
Mr O'Connor's spokeswoman said it would be inappropriate to comment given the police investigation.

Oh, yeah. The stuff that Bender reckons just doesn't happen. It makes ordinary hard working Australians so furious that these criminal illegals get away with burning down detention centres, assaulting detention staff and other horrific crimes. And then get accepted as genuine refugees!! We are supposed to also expect that those who want to live in our community should be lawful and of good character. Clearly these apes are NOT! |
