Salem - you have zero credibility after all of your inventions. Bender seems to know what he is talking about whereas your ramblings just resemble someone with NFI.

No Bender, you said that they were dismantled, that they no longer exist. Your story on the Mosque doesn't add up, and your silence on the riots is noted. You can go on and write a convincing paragraph or 2 to make yourself look convincing, but I'm not buying it because you struck out. 3 strikes, on 3 issues you failed. You want us to believe you went from a job in a warehouse to an immigration official? And yet you misspell 'center', a word as a Detention Centre official you'd be writing a few times a day? Your story doesn't add up Bender. Please quit posing and get back to your store job. I cannot see where Bender mispelt "center", could you point it out to me please Salem. Used twice in his no. 46 post.

Center is American English, Centre is elsewhere English....Benders spell checker is too blame, easy mistake...and besides they are detention facilities...to be proper.

Sonex. It is centre, not center. Please don't play games. Salem a young lad I know wants to be a Signwriter, his spelling is pretty woeful, and obviously good spelling is essential for him, and I do spend a bit of time coaching him, so I have to get it right, hence my query. The following from Google. "There is no difference in meaning between center and centre. Center is the preferred spelling in American English, and centre is preferred in varieties of English from outside the U.S. Some people do make distinctions between the words. For instance, some prefer to treat center as the word for a place or institution and centre as the word for the middle point of something.(my preference) But while these preferences may be taught in some schools and are perhaps common among careful English speakers in Canada, the U.K., and elsewhere, they are not broadly borne out in 21st-century usage"

I'm aware of all that Sonex, you missed my point. That being that he would be writing 'centre' at least once a day surely so his fingers would automatically one would think, type centre and not centre. Just more evidence imo.

Why would he have to write the word? Any stationery would have the name on it, so why would he have to write it. At my work, we have this amazing new invention called a printing supply shop, which prints our name and addres onto any letter we write and send out. Really, truly amazing stuff.
Don't follow your logic, but then, who does?

I'm sure he'd have to write 'centre' down somewhere, signing in, assigning etc. Nevertheless, surely someone who works in detention centres would know the correct spelling of centre.

I doubt whether spelling would be a prerequisite for getting a job there.

Well it was a hot night last night, so I didn't sleep well, which maybe is why I am having a problem understanding the above. I'm sure he'd have to write 'centre' down somewhere, signing in, assigning etc. Nevertheless, surely someone who works in detention centres would know the correct spelling of centre. No I don't write Centre or Center several times a night, we use abrevations such as VIDC (Villawood) CIIDC (Christmas Island), or BITA (Brisbane Immigration Transit Accomodation), or just IDC or ITA depending on the type of facility we're referring to You seem to be very sure of a lot of things that turn out to be wrong Salem. Being wrong doesn't seem to give you much pause though. You just move on to the next silly accusation that to your fevered imagination is the nail in the coffin. And when that one doesn't clinch it you forget about your failure and move on to the next one that will surely be the one to bring me undone. Do you ever sit back and think "gee, I tend to be wrong a lot of the time with all these individual accusations, might that mean I'm wrong in my general assumption?" I actually think that Center (in describing a thing, not a geographic location) should be spelt Center, I don't know why, I just spell it like that. Maybe it came from school (in the light of Sonex's post it might be that). As to what I said Salem, well, we have your recollection, but then again, your posts show a distinct prevelance for error so it's reasonable to assume that your memory would be just as erroneous. As I explained, I don't write about specifics or give out any information that would identify any individuals because that would break the terms of my non-disclosure agreements with my employer and the Government Department we represent. You claim that that is "convenient"? I think that such agreements are fairly standard these days and you would have to be rather naive to think that something involving asylum seekers wouldn't be such agreements with service providers. So what's suspiciously "convenient" to you? That I would obey the tenents of a contract that I signed? Wait a sec, is that to you somehow even more convient? As to "exposing me as a fraud"? Can you point out where you've done so Salem. The only place where I can see that it's happened is in your imagination. I really think it's time that you accept you're wrong, apologise for the rather silly accusations you've made and pull your head in Salem. I've been more then forgiving towards you to date on the grounds that you're not all there, but you're becoming a little Captain Wacky on the subject now.

LOL, talking about not knowing when to stop! Bender, give it up. You have yet to prove me wrong on anything, you, nor Pim. So since I've never been wrong, and in fact, have been proven correct on a few occasions, why don't you quit now while you're not too far behind. Its time for you to admit you're wrong, have been proven a fraud by Stellar and myself, and apologise for your lies and character assassination of me. You're a fraud Bender. You might be fooling old slart, but hes easily fooled. You are not fooling anyone else. Seriously Bender, give it up. You are just making a fool of yourself.

That's the major problem with message boards you get idiots like Salem believing that they are right because you can't make them say that they are wrong. The other problem is that with idiots like Salem, looking stupid isn't a hinderance to them, they don't care how stupid they look, they care about how stupid they feel and can only maintain their self image by not admitting they are wrong.
And as we can see, not admitting error is something that Salem is fairly accomplished at.

Villawood Immigration Detention Centre Maribyrnong Immigation Detention Centre Curtin Immigration Detention Centre Port Augusta Immigration Detention Centre and so on. Or do you have no attention to detail?? Fancy not being able to correctly spell the name of the facility you claim to work in?

Oh gawd, now Stellar's on the case, I'm screwed!
I think I've been pretty patient with you two despite the loopy shit you pair are coming up with. I honestly think I could have the pair of you come to work, give you a guided tour of the place and you'd still fervently and wholeheartedly believe that me doing such a thing was even more evidence to justify your beliefs. It would no doubt be just a little too convenient.
Wouldn't it.....
