Throwing acid at faces is something commonly done in certain areas of the world.

This occurred in Chinatown. Are you inferring that Chinese are prone to throwing acid? I always thought that was the favoured method of attacking females by middle easterners of the musso religion. But I've also heard that Indians do the same. We will just have to wait and see what the victim herself says about this horrendous attack. She is currently in the burns unit at Royal North Shore. I sincerely hope that she will recover and not have any horrible scars but I don't count on it. Acid is a terrible substance to come in contact with human skin. I can only hope they find the perpetrators fast and they are dealt with severely by the courts. Attacks on females are just out of control.

The victim is a TikTok personality, going by the name Jenny Elhassan.
I somehow don't think she was given that first name at birth.

Madeline Crittenden and Anton Ros 16 April 2022 DAILY TELEGRAPH Police are exploring links to a notorious Sydney crime family after an alleged attack on a woman with battery acid in the heart of the CBD on Friday night. TikTok star Jenny Elhassan, 32, told the Sunday Telegraph she did not want whoever was behind the attack to be punished, fearing an escalation of the situation. “I feel like it is just going to escalate and I am not dealing with that hopefully because I’m keeping my mouth shut,” she said. Jenny says she knows who the perpetrators are but isn't giving the information to police.
Foolish woman.

That is par for the course with muslims. They NEVER co-operate with police. Ask my son who spent 18 months in that wretched MEOCS squad. Retribution is OURS. That's their way of life. If we tell you who the perpetrator is - and then he turns up dead - well the cops will know who to go looking for. So keep it to ourselves and we will extract vengeance in our own way in our own time. Police will just think it's another gangland drug-related killing. After all there all plenty of them - it's basically a weekly occurrence in the south western suburbs. This woman is lucky she didn't lose her sight and wasn't maimed for life. She should co-operate fully with police like any other normal citizen would considering she knows who the perpetrators are. But I think she'll just keep it inhouse like the rest of her wretched community.
