The news only reports in the interest of its employer. It no longer serves the people.  Tamara Lich was denied parole on a mischief charge, and sentenced to 10 years. I saw a news article on her last night, apparently she's a member of some wacky ultra right wing groups in addition to being the ringleader of the truckers blockade.
And she also sings in a really really bad death metal band.

This Tamara Lich is the one whose husband appeared in Court on her behalf and claimed that the Government was preventing her from exercising her 1st Amendment Rights.
Similarly some of the protestors arrested by Canadian Police were confidently forecasting the dismissal of the charges against because police failed to Mirandize them.
For the record the Canadian Constitutions 1st Amendment relates to the recognition of Manitoba as a Province.
And the requirement for Police to read a Miranda Warning to any person they arrest is something that exists in America, not Canada......

Dunno if anyone else saw that "fact checker" who claimed that the US doubling their oil exports from Russia was false, and then admitting that the US had doubled their oil exports, in the very same post.
Moral, when it comes to the veracity of these so called "fact checkers", as always, follow the money.
