One guy *(Richard Reid) tried to light his shoe on fire twenty years ago. As a result, we now have to take our shoes off at the airport even to this day.
...And now you think things will go back to the way it was before Covid if we hit a number or get it to zero?
Lmao man, okay.đđ

We are going back to normal here in New South Wales. This is why Premier Dominic Perrottet has, rightly so, let the virus rip.
We need this to happen.

I've been asked every time. But it could be that occurs more often in American airports. I've only been off of the continent once in 2004. History lesson, offside: Did you know that April 1st was the old New Years before they introduced the two new months, January and February? It was called April Fools, because people insisted on continuing it as the beginning of the year

We use the Gregorian calendar donât we? Thatâs Pope Gregory from the 1500s. Before then our ancestors used the Julian calendar. Thatâs âJulianâ as in Julius Caesar who regularised the way of determining months and the number of days in a year. But before then it had been a dogâs breakfast so Iâm not surprised at your April Fool story. What I donât get is why the French say âpoisson dâavrilâ or April fish. Our word âcalendarâ harks back to the ancient Roman âcalendsâ (âcalendaeâ in Latin) which was the first day of the month. A month was divided into the calends, the nones for the 7th day of a month and the ides for the 15th. Did you ever study Shakespeareâs Julius Caesar? âBeware the Ides of March!â

Absolutely we are, at least here in New South Wales.
Dominic Perrottet has taken the brave decision to let the virus rip through the community so we can achieve herd immunity.
In the next few weeks New South Wales will finally rid itself of the hysteria.

My grandmother's birthday was the 4th April. But she was due around the 1st and everyone in the family was just hoping that she didn't arrive on that day. She always said that her parents were so relieved that she came a bit late.

As for going back to "normal," I certainly hope we don't! We can never go back to that unsustainable life - ever!
