Had an offer to upgrade for free to the new iQ5 (internet only or satellite) streaming box.
I decided to give it a go. It should arrive in the next week or so.
Apparently, Foxtel are trying to move people off the cable delivery method to "plug and play" internet boxes.
Supposed to be a faster and better picture quality machine than the previous iQ2/3/4 boxes.
Anyone else on Foxtel around here?

I do have Foxtel but access it via Foxtel Now, which is essentially what you're getting but through a box with a few other features like being able to record etc.
My Samsung TV has the Foxtel app, therefore no need for me to use a set top box.
I find IPTV to be far higher quality as they are able to steam all the channels as high definition. Not possible using traditional cable or satellite. Yes, some channels can, but not all as there are broadcast limitations.
Once Foxtel Flash gets released, which will be their News service, like Binge and Kayo, I'll be getting rid of Foxtel. I only subscribe for my favorite two channels, Sky News Australia and Fox News.
I have FTTP so bandwidth is never an issue for me.
