Don't worry about it, 6G will put an end to all that confusion. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) p.s. Where I live, my mobile phone receives a stronger signal (3 to 4 bars) when set to 3G only network connection. Setting to auto (2G / 3G/ 4G) it drops to only 1 bar signal strength. ![:|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/plain.png)

I’ve read it. The link, that is. A 4G smartphone will be supported for the next 10 years at least. Let the young ones knock themselves out with 5G. I’ll probably get a new iPhone this Christmas. I usually roll them over into a new smartphone every 5 years. So 4G it still is given the purposes I put a smartphone to - which don’t usually include games or movies. ![](https://www.digi.com/getattachment/Blog/post/4G-to-5G-How-Long-Will-4G-LTE-Be-Available/c-blogimages-evolutionof5g-2mb-700x394.png?lang=en-US)
