Shia Islam and the Iranian revolution

I'll be completely upfront and say this is not an endorsement of Islam in the slightest. I believe all Islam is evil as it doesn't conform with the Bible.

However, I did find this documentary on YouTube about how Iran has liberalised since the revolution interesting. I would even consider going on a trip there.

Well I think that Iran will be de-liberalising - that's if you could refer to a theocracy as "liberal" - now that they've elected this hardliner Raisi as President. 
I wouldn't even consider going anywhere near the place!!

I would however like to go to Bethlehem and Jerusalem.  I've always wanted to see the Church of the Nativity, the Wailing Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Milk Grotto.  
Now thanks to the continual fighting between Israel and Palestine - not to mention the pandemic - it's becoming impossible.  My retirement is not panning out the way I had expected.
