Therefore the stuff written in the Old Testament is a load of old cobblers. There was no Creation, no Fall, no Flood, no Tower of Babel, no Adam and Eve, no Garden of Eden, and because the Creation story is rubbish, and the Bible is rubbish, there is no need for a saviour. . Buzz, you realise that the Bible says that he molded Adam from the Mud, Don't you ? Just stop and ponder what might be meant by that for a second. Just saying

Buzz I think you could have a bible in 50 languages and boast you have them....however it won't make you any more knowledgeable when it comes to what is written. It is the same as someone who memorises massive amounts of quotes form the bible but doesn't really understand their meaning.

I think not I have the Bible in the Hebrew and it doesnt say god. With the findings of Ugarit so much more is now known and understood about the Canaanite religious beliefs and the Israelites were Canaanites and achademics are studying the findings of Ugarit and they make so much clearer now. No, we've known about Canaanite beliefs a lot longer than that, it's just that you've never bothered to study the Torah.

Ugarit has shown the Torah to be false. I have the Torah, and on the puter I can read it. I said study, not read. There is a difference you realise. and the pentateuch is the Torah you twit.

And I am no twit - conversation over. Then stop acting like one QED you don't have any idea what it says then. So stop talking like you know it so intimately.

You have to have an understanding of the reasons why things were written. For example, the prohibition against eating pork. Back then, in that area of the world, it would have killed a person. They didn't have refrigerators back then.

Darwin got his theory from the Vedas, a Hindu text. Eugenics got their ideas from Darwinism. (The founder of the Eugenics Philosophy was Francis Galton, Darwin's cousin.) Eugenics was the philosophy that fueled the Holocaust.
You are religious, embracing a Hindu philosophy, Buzz. And by Darwinian extension, a Nazi too.
Perhaps you want to put me in the gas chamber too.

Trying to distance yourself from that whole religio-holocaust stuff, eh? Yeah, I'd be embarrassed by it too. But Galton's relationship with Darwin is irrelevant. (Half-cousin, is still considered cousin, btw) Galton claimed he owed his findings to Darwin's "Origin of the Species"
Eugenics, the philosophy the drove the Holocaust, was a child product of Darwin's Theory.
Turns out your parachute is a Knapsack.

I know.. It's hard for you to accept that evolution had a hand in the Holocaust. And that Darwinism owes it's support to Hinduism. (A religion)
How's your PTSD, doing? Take your meds today?

.. "It is an annoying side-effect of doing the washing up without gloves. But letting your fingers go wrinkly in the water can actually help with doing the dishes – by stopping you dropping the crockery. The shrivelling of the skin on the fingers makes it easier to grip things underwater and pick up wet objects, researchers found." "And they suggest it may even be an evolutionary development. Researcher Tom Smulders said: ‘Going back in time, this wrinkling of our fingers in wet conditions could have helped with gathering food from wet vegetation or streams." I have a bad case of PTSD from trauma and violence. I will have it for the rest of my life more than likely. I don't take any medication. Then you concede that you are indeed, mentally ill, yes? Certifiably. I'm not saying this to be insensitive to your plight, but even you must see that you are stuck with the absurdity of the raven chiding blackness. Accusing and shunning others of mental illness, while being stricken by the very affliction you accuse them of.. I know something about PTSD, it's often accompanied by delusions.

Saying it had a hand in the Holocaust is absurd. The Holocaust was done by Nazis who were all Christians from good Christian homes. . 1. Eugenics was the driving force behind the Holocaust. highschoolbioethics.georgetown.edu/units/cases/unit4_5.html2. The conference of German bishops excommunicated all Nazis in 1930, and in the 1932 elections forbade Catholics to vote for a Nazi. Also, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a Lutheran clergy, was caught in a plot to kill Hitler. (A Nazi, and non-christian according to you, apparently.) And what about the Christians who were hiding Jews in their homes? I suppose they were Nazi's too. Still can't drum up a good justification of Stalin's anti-religious regime, eh? I bet you just hate the fact he wasn't religious.

"I'm not saying this to be insensitive to your plight..."What a whopper! Scoring points based on the personal circumstances of another member... that is low, even for you Veritas. Despite your personal feelings, Phil. In situations involving intolerance a person's personal mental condition comes into play. Especially when his hatred borders on fanaticism. Buzz made the admission that the Church was responsible for his PTSD, he even claimed he HATED the church for it. It's not an offside to the discussion, I would say it's central to it. The PTSD is at the root cause of Buzz's anti-religious prejudice. BY HIS OWN ADMISSION!

I never said I was an expert, I said I knew something of it. Only armchair critics like you, make outrageous claims like that. And before you get on the "How dare you diagnose me!", bandwagon: Ought I remind you exactly how many times you labeled me 'delusional, or schizophrenic' with absolutely no qualifications at all? I suspect that zombie you keep asking about is some sort of caricature for Christ. I could introduce you, then you could ask him yourself. He doesn't do coffee, but he appreciates a good wine. Makes it himself, y'know. --Just bring water, and a mustard-seed portion of faith. He'll even provide lunch. I hope you like tuna fish sandwiches.

you are delusional religiosity is a clear sign of schizophrenia I got told that by an eminent psychiatrist Yes, I know...you've tried this lie before. But the name of this 'eminent psychiatrist' is conveniently withheld for legal reasons, right? Either that, or he doesn't exist. If he does exist, he isn't that bright because he broke the most basic code of the profession. 1. If he does exist, you are under legal obligation to tell me his name, if he is going to diagnose me as a patient. 2. And if he does exist, I will sue his arse for breaking patient/doctor confidentiality. But you and I both know you are lying your arse off.I'll allow you to save some face, by admitting it now.

Veritas, I rebuked you for writing this ... However, after viewing Buzzo's posts over the last several days ... I apologize. You were absolutely correct. I appreciate your candor, Phil. But be wary of the door you open. You are about to subject yourself to pages of Buzz's obsessive banal rants. If you disagree or discredit him, he'll cut/paste old refuted arguments, thinking you forgot. If you give up out of frustration or time constraints, he'll count it as a victory.
