Is the food pyramid a huge lie which was pushed by the cereal and sugar producers around the world?
Is fat really that evil, or should we eat more of it to be healthy?

I remember reading an article about the founder of Atkins. He died of health issues, and he struggled with weight issues his whole life.
Obviously, his plan didn't work for him.

If I want to lose weight quickly I restrict my carb intake to 20g a day ....it bloody works ! Woolworths have a great low carb bread on the market !

I think complex carbs are fine. It's the simple carbs like sugar that are a problem. Although not fructose in fruits.
In the old days we referred to carbohydrates as just basically sugars and starches and we knew way back then that cutting them out would lead to weight loss.
