Gee, I can't recall any time when I stayed home with the oldies on NYE, much less cooked for them! She must be a gem. I still haven't got the hang of cooking more than one course, let alone dessert. I must confess I'm still trying though. I attempted to bake angel cookies for Christmas but I couldn't manage the dough as it was so wet and couldn't be rolled out. I had dozens of attempts and had to keep adding more flour. Well the result was as expected. 50 angel cookies that were totally inedible. Hard as rocks. I still have them packed into two containers and look at them occasionally thinking of what could have been. If I'd done them any earlier, I could have just added some salt and turned them into salt dough decorations.

My daughter is truly one of a kind Stellar.....a very decent young lady. She has little interest in drinking and partying with people her own age. She does go out with friends though....they prefer going out of dinner and having a drink or two at places like the Goldfish which is at Tempus Two winery. She works for a chef, so has learn a hell of a lot over the years. lol...you're angels cookies sound...ummmm interesting

My 19 year old cousin lives with us now too.....she is much the same. She spent 12 months partying quite a lot when she turned 18 and has decided it isn't really for her....prefers to be at work, at home, around horses, riding and walking/training her German Shepherd. My girls make me proud

Then you're lucky to have her Jody. So many girls these days are binge drinkers. I see them all the time around here ... they should be ashamed of themselves the way they go on. As for the parents!!
Yeah, those cookies are something else!! I keep them as a sort of punishment - because I just knew they'd turn out like that! But on the upside, I could keep them for decorations next Christmas, lol.
Now I am out of here.

She got drunk once Stellar and didn't enjoy it at all....she was a lot like how her father would behave in drink.....decided then and there (after she sobered up) that she would never get herself that way again. lol...yes put a hole in them and hang them on the tree.
