Do any of the Christians here believe that it is possible for a non-Christian who believes in God to be saved?

A delusion inside one's head?

Saved from what?
A delusion inside one's head? Saved from eternal separation from God. Ah.....eternal separation from one's imagination.
Dumbarse........you're going to be separated from your imagination (and your imaginary friend) and your memories and your body and EVERYTHING when you kark it and cease-to-exist/permanently-expire anyway!

Exactly, when I die, I'd dead forever. None of my friends or relatives who have passed away have ever made a reappearance, so I don't think I will either.

No-one else has made it back from the dead. Chances are pretty good I won't buck the trend.

I don't believe my existence ends at the grave. But neither do I believe that this life has any bearing on that existence beyond.

Sample "dialogue" between two people who will never concede anything. One wonders why they bother ... Paleo-atheist: There is no god! It's a no-brainer! Paleo-god botherer: He exists, I tellya! It's a no brainer! Paleo-atheist: Prove he exists! Paleo-god botherer: Prove he doesn't! Paleo-atheist: The onus of proof is with you, dickhead! Paleo-god botherer: No, it's with you, cretin! Paleo-atheist: shit-for-brains! Paleo-god botherer: loser! ... and so the "dialogue" continujes, round and round and round and round ...

Pim, the difference is that I once believed, then I woke up to reality. One day (hopefully) Veritas will wake up as well and realise that there was no second coming during his grand-parents life, during his parents life, during his life and there won't be one during his kids lives either.

Do any of the Christians here believe that it is possible for a non-Christian who believes in God to be saved? Yes absolutely. If you have not heard of Jesus but act according to the goodness and conscience that God has placed in your heart you will be saved. Such an individual e.g. a tribesman in the remote PNG or Amazon jungle has not rejected Jesus as ergo they did not know of him. The problem in mainstream society is that people do know of Jesus/God and whilst in their heart they know he exists they find every excuse to reject him and are willfully ignorant. Their call, their consequence.

The paleo's are at it again ... Skippy thinks that if you quote Matt 18:21-22 in response to a post of his which completely bowdlerises and traduces any Christian notion of forgiveness that person is being "obfuscating" and a "troublemaker". Jesus of course did not shy away from being called a "troublemaker". He could be a bit bolshie when he wanted to! But it does cast a question mark over Skippy's pious professions of Christianity on this Religion Board ...

Gee is there the remotest hope of discussion from you on the actual topic? Rhetorical question obviously.
