Troll alert.
I don't have much time for that religion either but we do have a constitution in this country that has a section 116 that guarantees firstly freedom of religion and secondly freedom from religion. That way if you wanna be a Mormon you've got the right to be a Mormon, and by the same token if you don't want the Mormons in your face when they come knocking you've got the right to close the door on them. Works for me. Now if Matt wants to grandstand his Mormonism here on the Religion Board that's a bit like having the right to fart in the toilet. People object if you drop a smelly fart in a crowded lift but if you can't drop a fart when you're on the loo where the hell can you drop a fart? This is the Religion Board. If a person can't have his religious beliefs respected on the Religion Board then where can he have them respected? If your answer is nowhere then you're advocating a totalitarian secular dictatorship and I'll be on the other side of the barricades to you on that one.

Matts problem is that as his mother is Jewish, he is Jewish, no matter how much he tries to pretend otherwise. No man can change their heritage.

My grandmother was Jewish but because she was my dad's mother that means I can't be Jewish. Right?

Check downstairs. If you have foreskin, you're not Jewish.

But the opposite isn't necessarily true. It isn't just Jews who shed foreskins.

Check downstairs. If you have foreskin, you're not Jewish. So what are you claiming here? That absolutely every single male jew in the world over a certain age has had their cock mutilated? Absolutely every one?

Absolutely every one? If you're male and identify as Jewish then you're a victim of post natal prepuce removal. Doesn't mean that all males who've had their foreskin removed are ipso facto Jewish. Not sure if ritual circumcision is practised for Muslim males. It used to be standard for boys to be circumcised in Australia irrespective of religion. Now I'm told it's on request by the parents. During WW2 uncircumcised Australian POWs in Japanese POW camps - particularly Changi - were circumcised on "Weary" Dunlop's orders as a health measure. All of which goes to show that the "look downstairs - if you're circumcised you're Jewish" is a most inexact way of identifying Jews. Nazi thugs would pull a targeted male's pants down and "look downstairs". Woe betide the hapless guy if he was circumcised!

So tough shit if the target male was American in origin, eh?
Considering that cock mutilation is the norm in Jesusland.

Is it? I ask 'coz I dunno! Seems like a helluva generalisation to make. Now OK if I see TV footage of the masses of whitefella faces at the Republican Convention in a presidential election campaign and you tell me that all the males I see have had foreskin removal therapy I'd be inclined to believe you. No idea why. Instinct I guess. They've got that look of guys who've had their foreskins removed I s'pose. But Democrats in the mass? All that cultural & ethnic diversity? C'mon!

Some gentiles are circumcised by their parent's choice. For Americans, are you referring to the Continent(s), or the Country? As far as I know, you've been misinformed. It's not a common Christian tradition to circumcise in either.
