That it may be entirely reasonable to have no religious beliefs, and yet be friendly to religion?

As I posted earlier:
Occam, with KTJ you're dealing with a troll whose denial of nuance and subtlety, irony and paradox is as one-eyed and simplistic as the most fundamentalist flat earth obscurantist or climate change denier. He'll always troll the religion board with his mantras and insults and will never be capable of getting past the most infantile first principles. Bear that in mind as you "debate" him

That it may be entirely reasonable to have no religious beliefs, and yet be friendly to religion? Considered? I would say that is most likely and I am a good example. While not sharing the faith, I understand the comfort and guidance religion brings to millions around the world. I also understand religion and culture are inextricably linked and that such vivid diversity of customs is largely a result of the way people lives there lives according to their faith and belief. I also understand the contribution religion has brought to science and knowledge. For example, where would engineering and architecture be had mankind not first gazed skyward, dreamed of Gods and built temples to them? I have no truck with religion but when it is used as a stick to beat humanity into subservience and suppression of free thought and livelihood, I definitely have a problem!

You can reject religious beliefs on a personal level but have respect for the religious faith of other individuals.
