If the asylum policy is to import 25000 bogus bullshit artists and put them all on centrelink for the rest of their lives at the Australian taxpayers expense then yes I'd say asylum policy is working beautifully.

I have no doubt that everyone of those frauds would eventualy have been found to be 'genuine refugees' by our pathetic courts had they chosen to wait it out.
What's with the "new policy" bullshit though? It's simply part of the successful coalition policy that Labor overturned and then were forced to reintroduce.

Why would he 'whinge' about LIBERAL policy? All he has to do is get mileage out of the fact it was the LIBERALS who implemented the policy years ago, LABOR who dismantled it, and the LIBERALS who MADE Labor re-instate it - the policy that is working. Win win for Abbott and the Liberals at the next election. ;D

Why would anyone vote for a mate of Alan Jones?

if it does work, shhhh, dont tell Richo.. but of course, this is not govt policy anyway, it was --forced-- on Labor , desperate to save itself electorally..their hearts are not in it, if they were, it would have been in b4 Winter recess this year, instead of Gillards Stunt with a puppet "committee..." and TPVs would also be re-installed. But, ahh, you know what Phil and the Asylum-seeker industry will say, if the bastards finally do stop coming! ahhh, ohh, ummm...its just the Monsoon break, LOL it was the "monsoon break "from 2001 to 2007, according to those like Julian burnside.. then there are all of those "push factors" which just seem to ebb and flow in perfect rhythm with LAbor border policies.. then there are those 'fleeing for their lives" Tamils...who preferred to just fuck off back to SR and no doubt to certain death..

Abbott ramping up the Carbon Tax fear mongering campaign has made them change their minds....arggghh they say...electricty prices have risen by over 2,000% we could never afford to live in Oz even on the dole..quick lets get back before Australia sinks lower than Greece...we will wait for this Abbott bloke to be leader who will save Australia and reduce electricity cost to 50c a quarter..and then we come..
Seriously though the better policy was the Malaysian solution, because it was a regional solution, the proper solution...one can never say that the Libs have vision for the future when adopting old policies..
