When December 21 comes and goes, and we are all still here; I expect you to repent, Matt.

Hang on! Here in Australia it'll be December 21 between 16 - 22 hours before 21 December dawns in the Americas. Depending on what Australian and what American time zone you're referring to. So does that mean that the world comes to an end in Australia nearly a full day before it comes to an end in the Americas?
How does that work??

As I understand it, Britain is supposed to see the first sign of the supposed apocalypse as it see's the second sun Nuburu (sp?) in the sky.
Either way, it'll eventually pass on both time zones, and Matt and those doomsday 2012 prophets will be made to look like the scaremongering frauds they truly are.

Nuburu? Is that some sort of Japanese sky god? Mr Google to the rescue: The Nibiru cataclysm is a supposed disastrous encounter between the Earth and a large planetary object (either a collision or a near-miss) which certain groups believe will take place in the early 21st century. Believers in this doomsday event usually refer to this object as Planet X or Nibiru. The idea that a planet-sized object could collide with or pass by Earth in the near future is not supported by any scientific evidence and has been rejected as pseudoscience by astronomers and planetary scientists.

Yep. That'd be the one. And that's exactly how Nasa responded too.

I'll let you know when it happens, Pim. But apparently, that won't be today.
Nothing out of the ordinary here, aside from half of the world being covered in darkness. --(But we call that 'evening'.)
We'll be expecting that apology for your fear-mongering, Matt.

I agree. It suits you. Very well, you've talked me into it. If you like it so much, it's yours.
