I grill the top of the omelette too... you use water when you mix and not milk as some people do.. My omelettes puff right up but then when I added the tomato on top, it falls down naturally... your way is too much trouble...
I'll take a picture next time and show you how it puffs up without the separation part... my grandmother told me you add water to beating the eggs... just a dash and that is the French way of doing it..
I'm not eating cheese anymore... I used to add cheese to them.

I'm an egg ADDICT! 4 minimum (I won't tell you the max - you don't want to know, trust me!) in scrambled eggs. I do a big saucepan full with curry and pepper in it and just have the scrambled eggs as a big meal, not with toast or anything, just as it is. I have a LOT of eggs a week, probably twice or more than I should have. Scrambled, omelette, fried, boiled (like to snack on like, 5 sometimes while on the computer), like them any way. I don't want to know what my cholesterol level is, but I would hard an extremely hard time giving them up, they are so delicious. Besides, I really don't have much of any fried foods like chips or other greasy stuff, and don't like salt on my food, so maybe it evens out. A person should only have four eggs a week! That is a complete fallacy!

A person should only have four eggs a week! Thats all? I'd rather be dead then. I thought it was 7 a week? One per day was what I thought the rule of thumb was? Unless they're changed it. Even with that, I would have a hard time sticking to it. yep... 7 is good.. and yes, they did change it.... they're always changing their BS... eat as many as you want... if 7 is your comfort zone, 7 it is...

Light and fluffy but sinking before the shot was taken….lol The end result… And a close-up snap of the last two bites.

I had an awesome breakfast this morning.
I've been staying in the Intercontinental Hotel in Wellington since Friday, although avoiding their restaurant until this morning when I indulged in their big buffet breakfast before I checked out. It was delicious, although I was a wee bit too full by the time I had finished.

I have been told to avoid foods that include the colours yellow and brown......usually means fatty and fried.

I have some great shots of breakfasts I did at restaurants during the winter.. I think I posted them at the other group... it was so nice to do .... but that is over now... next winter, I plan on doing the restaurant rounds for breakfast again....

Last night, Tuesday night, I wanted to go to Captain Munchies for a Fillet steak but when we got there, it was CLOSED... I ended up at Hungry Jacks (Burger King)... but tonight, I am determined to have a fillet steak. I naturally took a camera in case I found something interesting to capture and I thought the new style of hungry jacks was. I've never been in there so it was interesting to me.... The kids cheese burger I had though, didn't compare to a fillet steak I was denied.... but anyway.... this was the interior..

That place looks like yet more American culture polluting Oz.
