Um... That argument is a moot point.
The old Linux, Unix, Windows argument.... Richo, do you also wish you had a smartphone that only had command line access? LOL.

First of all, I have no idea who this Richo chap is. Mate of yours? Secondly, you do understand that Android is what we call a Linux flavor. It has a Linux kernel. Unlike a decade ago, Linux distributions tend to be integrated into a GUI, such as Ubuntu.. The next Gen of phones come with a dual core. You can download Ubuntu onto your Android

No, a self hating Jew in Melbourne. Well there's spitting invective. You sound a tad paranoid, Buddy.

Why was this guy a "self-hating Jew" ? Did he publicly denounce Judaism Did he advocate another Holocaust for them?

hahahahaha....a friend of mine wrote this on fb
My Samsung Galaxy is apparently Mayan. It stopped, dead yesterday, for no reason at all. I took it into Telstra and the technician said this was the 4th one (same model) in 24hrs that had done the same thing!!

Heard those stories about the iPhone as well.
In fact I don't know many people who have not had to go to the Apple Store on George St to have it fixed or exchanged. Most of the time Apple just exchanges them, because the phones are so cheap due to the materials used.

Failing home buttons on iPhones is not uncommon...that's why they have a 'soft' key you can activate on the screen.

I'm not due to replace my Iphone 4S for another year or so but I've been a fan of the Iphone since 2008 so I can't see myself changing. I do like the 3D phones, a guy I worked with had one and the video playback on them is extraordinary.
The Iphone is user friendly though, the internet tethering option makes it convenient to use as a modem with the amount of time I spend away from home. The Iphone 6 better come with 128 gig of memory though because 64 gig just doesn't cut it anymore.

The one thing really putting me off an iPhone 5 is yet another freaking cable to carry around. I have the 30 pin for my iPad and a micro USB which does, well everything else ...HTC phone, Kobo e-reader.
I would consider a 4S, though.

My phone has wireless charging, Bluetooth and NFC... no need to carry around 'cables' for me.
I guess the iPhone will get these features in the iPhone 7, and then sue the other handset makers for stealing ideas!

I am not attached to my phone like it's my dearest friend so I don't need it to have wireless charging etc. It gets put in a dock overnight and is fully charged in the morning. All I need.

All the fuss about a pissy little cable! Of course, you can probably guess why I am saying this now... ;D

Yep...would have been happy with a 4s but increasingly hard to get hold of. Complete upgrade on our comms now, two i5s plus landline and Internet package.
