Quite possibly the biggest flashmob performance ever was pulled off in Macy's Centre City Store in the Wanamaker Building in Philadelphia on 30th October 2010 when 688 choristers sang the Halellujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah, accompanied by Peter Richard Conte and Fred Haas on the gigantic Wanamaker Grand Court Organ. The choristers were spread all throughout the store....Or CLICK HERE to view the video-clip in a larger-sized format.In case you're wondering how that was all co-ordinated, there was a conductor standing next to the organ console, with a few other sub-conductors taking their cue from her and conducting choristers who were spread all through the various departments of the store out of sight from the main conductor....
