People look at believing in Jesus as something difficult, something pretentious and something judgemental.
That is untrue, God wants us to be happy, He wants us to look to Him, to follow His plan and to be at peace with Him.
He wants us how we are, and when we invite him into our lives He will then work with us to change who we are.
Please just try it, please just ask for Jesus to come into your life!

Matthew 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and few find it.

Matt I agree with you but you can't shove it down peoples throat. In all honesty it is people like you who push people away from God. You need to let people find their own way.

Other than a bad case of PTSD I am fine Matt.
You have Hyper religiosity or Toxic faith and you are delusional.

...And everyone knows PTSD is not in the same sort of medical category as delusions. (Whoops, did I type that out loud, again?)

I have no delusions at all.
Being an atheist, is a sign of mental health, and Toxic Faith such as yours, is a sign of ill health.

I personally know 3 atheists who are on meds for mental illnesses. One bipolar, the other two suffer schizophrenia...one worse than the other. To be perfectly honest, I think they would fair better if they had God in their lives.

25% of the Australian population is atheist.
So its a broad part of the population and the general rate and numbers apply.
But here in Perth they incarcerate 2 or 3 people who think they are Jesus every single week.
You cannot tell me that people with that belief are sane.
They are diagnosed with Schizophrenia, and medicated and after a few weeks some come good and are discharged.
Schizophrenics think they are connected to god and speak for him, and in many cases actually are him.
Some people actually believe them too, which is interesting.
The Jehovah's Witnesses have a 300% the general rate of Schizophrenia and 400% the general rate of Paranoid Schizophrenia.
The JWs have a very high religiosity generally speaking, and that cult seems to attracts people not far from the edge, and the isolationism, absolutism and overbearing treatment by the cult on them sends them over the edge.
When a Psychiatrist talks to a new patient, their religious beliefs are the first thing discussed and observed.
