Homosexuals are fickle... they marry one second and divorce in a flash...the lawyers will be rubbing their greedy little hands together....lol there are of course exceptions to rules. I do hope people from OZ go to New Zealand get married and spend their money there to boost NZ economy... very good tourism drawcard... Well done NZ. Homosexuals are fickle... they marry one second and divorce in a flash On what do you base that assertion considering so few are actually allowed to marry? Gee, I dunno, Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian... even the lovely Liz Taylor. Now there is fickle for youthe lawyers will be rubbing their greedy little hands together....lol there are of course exceptions to rules. I certainly agree on both points I do hope people from OZ go to New Zealand get married and spend their money there to boost NZ economy... very good tourism drawcard It would be, but ultimately pointless since the marriage would not be recognised on returning homeWell done NZ. Absolutely! Bravo!

Now Matty-Boy, here's an opportunity for ya, become a Marriage Celebrant and specialise in Marrying off Pillow Biters. There's a fortune to be made in SSM, Pal.

2 out of 3 marriages end in divorce.....which suggest 2 out of 3 marriage's are made on a whim, therefore 2 out of 3 gay marriage is built on a whim, all seems rather passé ...whats the point.

The point is that gay marriage is a conservative reform. Rather than undermine the institution of bourgeois marriage as the secular West has known it for the past 200 years, gay marriage buttresses it.

‘Gay’ billboard brews controversyBy AMY JACKMAN - The Dominion Post | 12:06PM - Sunday, 28 April 2013FUNNY OR NOT?: The new Tui billboard between Wellington and Petone. — MAARTEN HOLL/Fairfax NZ.A TUI BEER BILLBOARD in Wellington is causing some controversy with some labelling it as offensive.
The billboard between Wellington and Petone on State Highway 2 reads, “Dad’s new husband seems nice. Yeah right”.
Tui’s Facebook page has received comments about the advertisement since April 24th, with some saying it is “homophobic”, “disgusting” and “offensive”.
However, others say the billboard is “so funny” and “brilliant”.
Sophie Lockwood said she had previously enjoyed the billboards.
“I have always had a good giggle at your billboards as I drive down the Hutt motorway each morning, but I am pretty disgusted by the one I saw yesterday. Homophobia in this day and age? Really??”
Kay Gubbins had a similar view.
“What’s with the anti-gay signs Tui? They’re creepy and uncool. I used to like your beer but I can find other brands that don’t offend me and my gay friends.”
However Luke Frogley said the joke was a play on a person getting a new step-parent.
“This joke would traditionally say ‘wife’, as in the person isn’t happy with their Dad’s new partner,” he posted on Facebook.
“However, now that marriage is open to homosexual couples, so too will be situations where Dad gets a new husband. The joke teller isn’t necessarily...not happy with Dad’s new husband because he (and Dad) are gay...The joke is more a reflection on recent events, and if anything, promotes gay marriage because we no longer have to say ‘Dad’s new Civil Partner seems nice’.”
The Marriage Equality Act will come into force on August 19th.
The amendment to the law, which allows same-sex couples to marry, was approved by Parliament on April 17th and received Royal approval.

❏ Best one they've had in ages. For goodness sake if it's OK to have some sign selling on Trade Me saying "We don't care who's on top" with a couple of chicks kissing then what's wrong with this. Get a flamin grip folks.Grunter ...
❏ Its satrical comment on current news. Punch would have been proud of it. It's certainly not anti-gay. People have become so PC we have lost our sense of humour, and that seems to be causing all sorts of problems now. Why can't we just accept that we are all different and live with it.Armchair Warrior ...
❏ I think it's funny, it's just like TUI to take a poke at something... like religion, Jafaland, Wellywood, fat & skinny chicks & guys, monarchy, iPhones, cyclists, politics, legends, sports & even themselves.

Marriage is sanctimonious between a man and a women as the catholic church would have, why gays would want the the church to approve their marriage given their medievial beliefs in this day age is beyond me...like who cares about marriage unless kids are involved and names are the issue.
