Michael Williamson Arrested. While the media are trying to drag the Alan Jones affair out as long as possible (and involve Tony Abbott in it,) this story isn't getting the coverage it deserves. The low-paid hospital workers can be permitted a bit of schadenfreude as their high-living former boss is now facing seven years bad luck. Williamson is a former national president of the ALP. His lavish life-style has been financed by peons who were paying about $600 in HSU union fees. Good to see that the Herald is giving the story to Kate McClymont, one of their toughest journos.Attachments:

Williamson was one of Gillard's backers in the 2012 coup, and his daughter worked in her office as some kind of liaison. Watch for frantic efforts to distract media attention from this one.

Someone of this importance and with close connections to the Government is looking at serious jail time. It will take something more important than "Abbott the Wall-Basher" to take the spotlight off this one.

Larry Pickering wrote this article on the Michael Williamson thing. This could have dire effects on the union movement, the financial arm of the ALP.HSU BOSS WILL SING A DIRGE TO LABOR Former Federal President of the ALP, Michael Williamson, will no doubt become a guest of her majesty in due course. The trouble is that “due course” will take years and buckets more full of stolen HSU members’ funds. Members’ $20 million in hard sweat is lost forever with the assistance of Craig Thomson Dozens of union bosses are running their shredders white...hot, scissoring credit cards and phoning mates to get stories straight. Wives are being told not to believe stuff about brothels and bath houses. The ALP, in its current form, is about to become an obsolescence that will take a generation to rebuild. It is riding an invisible tsunami at sea, in denial of the damage onshore. The Gillard Government has decimated the Union movement, destroyed Labor’s voter base and polarised an entire nation. The ACTU has been noticeable only by its silence as its union movement begins to crumble under the weight of endemic corruption. The union movement and the ALP are one and the same. They are chained to each other in a sordid game of mob-style politics that decent Aussie folk cannot begin to comprehend. Phase two of the regime’s demise is to attempt to shut down criticism and demonise opponents. Jones was an opportunity not to be lost. This site is under constant attack, Abbott has been vilified in the filthiest possible personal way. Foreign professional attack dogs have been engaged to indecently defame any who oppose. Unions bosses are about to sing like canaries in a desperate attempt to self-preserve. But it’s too late for them. Their culture of criminality is slowly being exposed and Gillard’s expensive attempts to gag honest union bosses are faltering. She will soon be without executive power and the ability to fund the payola and bribery necessary to keep a lid on the simmering scumpot. Soon, blind supporters in the media who once professed objectivity will be left standing naked, exposed for their bias, rendered valueless as future independent commentators. The bevy of vicious females who have over promoted each other into the Cabinet, supported by grovelling unionist hacks, is degrading the feminist movement into future political oblivion.

Keep that message out there!! Eventually the apathetic general public will wake up to what's been going on in the union movement and its nefarious association with the Labor party.
Gillard can try to shut down Pickering's website - it's been done several times - but to no avail. The message will finally get through.

Have you looked at Pickering's website? Skippy's wrong you know - some messengers do need to be shot. And no, <sigh>, that doesn't mean literally what it says, it's a rhetorical point which picks up on Skippy's perennial whinge about "shooting the messenger". I've been saying for years that the ALP needs structural reform and that the good work begun by Simon Crean needs to be carried forward. I'd prefer to listen to Lindsey Tanner on the ALP than to a sleaze like Larry Pickering with his grossly obscene cartoons of Julia Gillard and his locker room blokey rants about women politicians. He talks of Julia Gillard and Labor women "devaluing feminism". The idea that Pickering has become a "sensitive new age guy" has as little credibility as the absurd notion that Mr Lynch Mob Radio, the quintessential radio shock jock bully Alan Jones, is some sort of victim.
David you come onto the board as some sort of "moderate man" who tut tuts at sledging. And yet you trawl through some pretty sludgy swamps and sewers and emerge, putrid, to spread vile personal calumnies about people in public life that you don't like.

What rubbish, women are still a very small minority on both sides of parliament. The Shadow Cabinet has a total of two female ministers out of twenty, and the Labor Cabinet seven out of 29. Women are grossly under represented in government.

Oh please, don't hold back! I'm guessing those sludgy swamps and sewers are anti-Labor websites?? It's apparent you're becoming very judgemental yourself when you describe someone as "emerging putrid to spread vile personal calumnies ...." Yet you do exactly the same and can't recognise it. I'll put that down to your advancing old age and pigheadedness.
