... on yesterday's events in Canberra. It reckons it's all a crock. That's after it splashes its usual daily "Monster Croc" pic over its hard copy front page. I'm in Darwin for a week. Loving it up here in the sauna!

I'm in Darwin for a week. Loving it up here in the sauna! Don't forget to take a dip in the local waterways, those croc signs are put up by the locals to stop tourists swimming in their spots, its perfectly safe.

Darwinians tell me that they've missed out on their wet season this year. If that is so, nature is making up for it with a vengeance today. It's bucketing down. This is the third thunderstorm today. I went outside between storms, as it were, when it wasn't actually raining, but by the time I got back to the blessed aircon, my clothes were drenched. The air is wet! I've since found out that the humidity is 94%. Welcome to the Top End wet season.
Spectacular weather!
