Obvious to see that the RW hate filled agenda has addled their minds too a warped perverse unreality. As western nations progressed into modernity they saw the ethical need to break down the racial inequalities of the world, and that the planet should move forward together as one with equality is a noble solution to end poverty, and such progress saw that immigration barriers were brought down, as it was with Australia and the removal of the white only policy...except the conservatives who go against change of any sort. Global Western Government's realisng that FGM is cultral practice that predates the bible and koran was an issue with Africa and parts of Asia populace and as such made this cultural practices illegal. To counter this health agencies were set up to deal with this problem through education and community cooperation with elders and religious leaders, there is no turning a blind eye to this , nor is it approved by the left wing, difference is the Left and Centre politic see a problem and impliment measures to deal with it...the nincompoop far right its......Arrrrrr just shoot the honeys and be done with em...such is the 19th century mindset of the far right. Indeed the % of moderate muslim is far greater than the fundamentalist and one would not know if these people were muslim or not when walking in the street. Fear and loathing is all the far right knows or understand...just as bad as the fundies...  |

Given the fact that no one has said that here Buzz it's fairly clear that you are hearing things that just aren't real. That's a pretty large indicator of mental illness Buzz. I'm not saying that to have some sort of cheap shot at you, I'm simply laying out the facts you are claiming to hear (or rather read) something that just isn't there. If you disagree with that Buzz, if you believe that your comments are sane and based in reality then it should be relatively simple for you to copy and paste some of these things that you say you hear. Now if you can't do that you should be asking yourself why you can't, and more importantly you should be asking yourself if you should go to a mental health professional to seek some assistance. |

You're imagining things Buzz. I didn't say you were racist, I said you were mentally ill because you made statements saying that all you heard from us was "we want that, let them in" which as everyone (apart from you) can clearly see, just isn't there.
You're showing symptoms of someone suffering from a mental illness, your vocalising feelings of persecution, you're claiming to have read statements that (as everyone else can see) just don't exist and as we can see from your multiple threads concerning the same subject you're exhibiting signs of obsession.
Whether or not you seek some sort of professional help doesn't affect me one way or the other Buzz, but it will help you.

Buzz - your 120 000 number for women and girls in Australia who have undergone FGM continues to be the least believable point in your argument.
In the UK with an estimated 3 million Islamic population health authorities estimate 66 000 women have undergone FGM. You are asserting that our 436 000 Islamic people has almost double that number.
If about half the population is female then you are saying that more than half the Muslim women in Australia are sufferers.
I am sure I asked you to do this reality check a while back but you continue in quoting your plucked out of the air number. CARO MELDRUM-HANNA in the ABC discussion you quote is not correct (I believe she may be quoting female immigration figures and using that total as the number of sufferers) Every health authority in Australia I can find says an actual number cannot be ascertained.
FGM is a terrible practice in all it's forms and even one case is a blot on society. Your exaggeration does the case against it a disfavour.
It is illegal in all states and territories and it is illegal to take someone out of the country to procure this mutilation.
