It was a harsh and miserable life as a stone age hunter gatherer. They suffered terribly in times of drought and floods and fires. It was certainly no utopian life - just an existence. And newly born babies were routinely killed if the mother still had an infant who had to be carried because she could not carry or breast feed two children. Nothing was wasted and babies were a good source of protein. They also strangled the elderly when they became a burden on the tribe. No one was going to give them any of their meagre food and water supplies. Such compassionate people! It was a horrible miserable life with absolutely no creature comforts. Yet we are told they lived this wonderful cultural life in peace and harmony with other tribes which they did not. Especially when they were competing for the same scarce food and water resources. There wouldn't be one aboriginal who would want to return to that sort of stone-age existence! So much for "truth telling."
