. Go with your instincts BUT the younger members of your family should get a safe vaccine. I couldn't live with myself if I got that one wrong. Could you? Based on the mounting evidence and what was experienced the first time: -It took us 2 1/2 years to get. -When we did get it, it was a mere nuisance. -There is zero evidence that any vaccine stops, slows or prevents the virus from spreading. -Our natural immunity was more than sufficient ...I'm having a hard time finding a selling point. I cannot argue with you because there is merit in what you say about government control. go with your instincts like I said. I just had a visit from my sister who survived covid. She said the headache was the worst part of it. She said painkillers didn't help. Her husband and son never caught it off her either. I found that most surprising.

Sew I'm just pissed off because they made it a political issue when they mandated the vaccine, and labeled me a terrorist.
I probably would have taken it freely, had they not tried to shove it down my throat. That was government overreach

I am never going to get over the fact people were sacked for not getting the jab. I find that morally reprehensible.

It doesn't even make sense logically, since it's supposedly the non-vaccinated that are talking all the risk. ...Would they also fire someone for having a sedentary lifestyle? It's government overreach.

Somebody (I don't know who they were, nurse, Dr, other) said on our news 1/3 of people in hospital for covid weren't vaccinated as if they were criminals and I felt like yelling at the TV, "well 2/3 WERE vaccinated ya bimbo so what does that say about the vaccine?"
Tonight on the news they featured 3 people who had intimate contact with covid victims and never caught it themselves.
This illness has a wide varient behaviour....from a mild illness to death. 2 men in their 50s died in Perth this past week. That is too young.

The entire world survived Covid-19 for an entire year without the Covid vaccine, and the CDC was saying then, that it was completely survivable.
Funny how they changed their tune when they realized they could profit by convincing you that you couldn't survive without it.
Trust us, 'cause we're all doctors here, and if you don't pay us money you are ignorant anti- science conspiracy theorists!
The world literally shut their brains off.
"Duh... It must be science, 'cause that guy is wearing a lab coat!"

I just had 2 emergency operations in March and I wasnt closed up because the wound they made was 9 centimetres wide and 7 centimetres deep and it has to heal from the base up. I have a vacuum wound dressing attatched to me and I'm attached to this machine that sucks the fluid out of the wound... the wound is now 3 centimetres deep... it should be closed up within a fortnight I hope... anyway, I am terrified of contracting covid while I'm still wounded. I don't think I would survive. I am barely coping as it is.
Many people over the last 2 years have described their covid ordeal and I believe them... the dead can't tell me. I am one to err on the side of caution. That is what my intuition tells me.

Hope your wound heals well. It will take some time but you'll get there eventually with good care. But I can see your concern being in a hospital where there are undoubtedly covid patients receiving treatment.
So your decision to get the vaccine is a wise one. We can never anticipate what will actually happen until we get the virus - it being a novel coronavirus and one we're still learning about. So to err on the side of caution is sensible. At least if you do contract the virus you can expect to have milder symptoms.

I am blessed to be healthy enough risk it, and I am just as happy that the vaccine is available to help you with your issues and concerns.

Haha, that and keeping away from other humans. Its got to work. We were fortunate, too. We live in a pretty secluded home in the countryside, and we home school. And I work alone in a fairly isolated environment.

At least if you do contract the virus you can expect to have milder symptoms. The thought of having a headache that doesn't respond to pain killers is the most worrying for me. I used to have migraines regularly... not so much these days though. Hard as these times are, I try to stay positive. Yes, I allow myself some time for self pity but I try to keep it to 2 minutes, max. I am serious. I'll cry in frustration because I'm temporarily confined but slap myself out of it. I'm not in the Ukraine or other struggling spot, I live in paradise. I have to be grateful. There is no one to talk to because we are all on the same ferry of world misery. We have to make a plan...as soon as my wound is all sealed up and healed, I am going to go for a photoshoot in the countryside and my desire is to find flocks of Finches, budgies and cockatiels in the wild. That is what I want to see. I want to see them drinking from the shallow lakes. I'm watching the Elton John story movie ...I love it. That is making me happy. You have to find small enjoyments each and every day.
