And this is a wonderful thing.
Russia will suffer, even China cannot save it (and doesn't want to). There will be economic ruin and hyperinflation. Hopefully starvation.
Call me heartless.
But the Russian people have allowed people like Vladimir Putin to thrive. They have not exactly done anything to overthrow him. In fact, they allowed him to become president all those years ago.
The Russian people are not innocent and now deserve the pain they are about to experience.
The only thing the western world (the superior civilisation) should accept is a bullet in Vladimir Putin's head.

You are heartless. The Russian people are victims of their government's decisions.
I feel if a leader wants to pick a fight, they should do just that- lead. They should be the first on the battlefield; Not sending men out while they cower behind bulletproof glass.

You have to remember there are a vast amount of ordinary Russians who are right behind Putin's decision to invade the Ukraine. Whilst there are many brave souls who have protested and many of the conscripts sent in to fight his battles have given up the fight, there still are many many more who believe the Ukraine is still part of Russia.

I would love to see the violence increased against the Russians. They are the invaders, therefore the gloves should be off.
Burn them alive in their tanks and armoured vehicles.

Matte - whatever happened to "Thou shalt not kill", "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and "But I say to you; love your enemies"

It is actually "thou shalt not murder".
Killing and murder are two different things. Vladimir Putin should be killed.
I am thrilled that Facebook is now allowing people to openly call for and encourage the assassination of Vladimir Putin. Thank you Mark Zuckerberg!

Matte - whatever happened to "Thou shalt not kill", "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and "But I say to you; love your enemies" If I murder innocent civilians including little kids I would expect to be justly killed for my war crimes. JESUS and I assume his angels along side him will be sweeping the earth of its enemies real soon. Jesus said, "unless these days are cut short, no flesh would be saved but on account of the chosen ones, those days will be cut short." Matt 24:22 Justly executing a war criminal IS an act of love. And soon Jesus and his angels will be executing many acts of love. The enemy had their chance to change their evil ways...They chose acts of evil instead.

Romans 12:17-21 ESV Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Beautiful however Paul wrote that before tanks AK47s and stinger missiles were a thing... I'd like to see him write that in front of a fully equipped Russian army.

So just how do you think we should treat Putin? Should the Ukrainians just lie down and be bulldozed over by those tanks? Is it ever ok to defend your homeland? I think we should remember that the Ukraine is probably the most Christian nation in Europe. 78% of Ukrainians identify as members of the Ukrainian Orthodox church, 10% as Roman Catholics, 2% are evangelical Christians and there are 200,000 Jews living in the Ukraine. Putin might have been baptised as a Christian but he definitely doesn't act like it. I think he actually takes after his father who was an atheist.

(I don't think) everytime I see kids suffering in the Ukraine a part of me dies.

No it means to rejoice at the anticipation of Christs return. You've taken the verse out of context. "Deliverance" implies we are the victim, not the aggressor.
