The SUV was stolen. They should have let the thief go up in flames with the car.

what have I been telling you for months.... Australia is FULL of dickheads.
Even that 60+ yr old who died in the floods died because he was a dickhead. How many times are people told over and over by the police, 'NOT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATER'?

Police have identified the scumbag - he is a 19 year old Queenslander! From the ABC: Detectives have charged a man who allegedly stole a car before causing a fiery crash on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a day after calling on the public to help identify him. Police had been unable to identify the 19-year-old man from Queensland, who they allege was driving a Toyota Kluger SUV which swerved into oncoming traffic and slammed into a van on Monday morning. The man, Christopher Walker, remains in hospital and was today set to appear before Central Local Court via a bedside hearing. He has been charged with several offences including dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm. Police allege Mr Walker assaulted a man in the CBD and stole the keys to his Kluger just before 7am on Monday. A short time later, emergency services were called to the three-car crash on the Harbour Bridge. His heavily tattooed hand was the only thing they had to identify him as he was refusing to speak to police ... As I said, they should have left him in the car when it caught fire! One less thieving scumbag in the world. Probably on drugs as well.
