So ... Her Maj has now tested positive for Covid. But will continue on with "light" duties. Does this mean she's letting us know she's not gonna cark it any time soon? I am pessimistic about it however people are assuring me she'll survive... she is over doing it, to put on a brave face instead of acting her age. I told off the firm on twitter and said she should be using a walking stick and I was promptly chided for my comment... mere weeks after she did start using one. The Queen has false pride. I said the Queen could make walking sticks trendy if she wanted...A nice Queenly one with bling... They keep saying she's 95... well, she is 2 months off 96. And Pr Harkle is a nasty little shit that needs to be put in the tower.

She should... Pr. Charles is too old and on his last legs... The covids 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 keep catching him and why does an old man like that want to take on a full time job like being a King shaking everybodies grimy paw anyway?.... nah, shove it onto poor William...Kate will be a knock-out looking Queen. William already looks Kingly... Charles is ready for aged-care. Then there is Pr Gingernut waiting in the wings hoping he is just 1 plane flight away from the throne himself. They say Nutmeg butterball has been hiding in seclusion writing Pr Gingeruts memoirs ....lol

The Queen is getting thinner and frailer. She now needs to permanently use her walking stick to get around and she complained at one stage, she couldn't move. If she can't continue to carry out her duties, an interesting scenario is unfolding ...
From: News.com
In a statement, the Palace said she will “continue to receive medical attention” from her team of royal physicians and expects to continue “light duties” at Windsor over the coming week.
It comes after it was revealed Prince Charles and Prince William will be brought in to jointly take over the Queen’s duties by law if she becomes too sick to exercise her powers.
The legal protocol is outlined in the 1937 Regency Act, which names four “counsellors of state” that are next in line for the throne, who are the only members of the royal family who can perform some of her duties.
And there’s two surprising names on the list who could technically find themselves asked to take over her duties – Prince Andrew and Prince Harry.
Prince Harry remains overseas and is locked in a legal battle over his demand the British Government allow him to pay for government security if he returns with his children, Archie and Lilibet Diana.
More importantly, the Regency Act requires a counsellor of state to be domiciled in Britain. Because he lives overseas, that would appear to disqualify him, despite the fact he remains on the list by law.
Meanwhile, the Duke of York has retreated from public life after a settlement rumoured to be more than $22 million was reached over a civil case brought by Perth mother-of-three Virginia Guiffre, who accused him of raping her on three occasions, a claim he strenuously denies.
Despite the fact that Princess Anne is Queen Elizabeth’s third child, she does not feature in the list of potential counsellors of state under succession laws.
However, the succession law was changed to allow Princess Charlotte to retain her place in the succession list. I don't see why Princess Anne couldn't therefore take over as a Counsellor of State from Prince Andrew and Prince Harry. She'd definitely do a better job than either of them and she's proven that by being one of the hardest working Royals. If they can change the succession law for Princess Charlotte, they should be able to do the same for Princess Anne.

If Pr William takes his kids and himself for another helicopter ride and kills them all, lended the comment by the Harkles, that they were, 'one plane ride from the throne.' Anyone labelled, "Duke", can be the next King.

The Queen is proving to be an idiot with regard to her favourite son. Her Maj just couldn't help herself - amazingly she's allowed Randy Andy to remain a Vice Admiral!
I'm sorry, I've just lost a lot of respect for the Queen. She's old I understand that, but she's not senile. She knows how much this will infuriate the masses, but she's done it just the same. And likewise her intention that Camilla should be crowned as Queen consort.
This is entitlement at its worst. Where the hell is that pledge at her coronation to serve the people?
"Throughout all my life and with all my heart I shall strive to be worthy of your trust."
Well she's just lost the trust of a lot of people.

Diana is over two decades dead. She wouldn’t have been Queen consort anyway. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge will also likely be the Princess of Wales.

Diana was the first person to admit she was no saint.
There is nothing worse than people who have literally EVERYTHING and still whinge life isn't good enough... Diana falls in that category.
I have no respect for them.
As for "the masses," I don't believe they exist anywhere except in the minds of Murdocks left winged anti-monarchy press' imaginations.

Liz to see out her days at Windsor Castle. Queen to move from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle permanentlyBy Olivia Rudgard March 7, 2022 — 8.31am London: The Queen is to make a permanent move to Windsor Castle after working from there for most of the pandemic. The 95-year-old monarch has been “working from home” at Windsor and is to stay there as renovations at Buckingham Palace continue for another five years, The Sunday Times reported. Queen Elizabeth II at the start of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations last month. She has since contracted and recovered from COVID-19CREDIT:PA/AP The move came as the Queen recovers from COVID and another undisclosed health issue that saw her spend a night in hospital in October and then several weeks resting on doctor’s advice. At an official engagement in February she was pictured leaning on a walking stick and told visitors: “As you can see, I can’t move.” Buckingham Palace will remain the central headquarters of the monarchy, though the Queen is now expected to carry out her engagements both virtually and in person from Windsor, as well as going to events outside the castle. In London, she is expected to attend the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on March 14 and a service of thanksgiving for Prince Philip at the abbey on March 29. She is also expected to appear at June’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, during which the royal family will appear on the balcony on June 2 for her official birthday parade. The festivities, for which the UK has a four-day bank holiday weekend, also include a formal Trooping the Colour parade and a music festival, the Platinum Party at the Palace, on June 4. The Royal Standard flies above Windsor Castle in Windsor, England, to signal the Queen is in residence.CREDIT:AP The home move marks the end of an era, as the Queen’s royal standard which is flown when she is at one of the royal palaces or in a vehicle, will now be rarely seen in Buckingham Palace. In her absence the Union Flag flies above the building instead. The Queen’s annual calendar usually includes seasonal moves around the UK, but in recent years these have been disrupted by the pandemic. The plan to move away from London forms part of a long-standing shift, with Windsor Castle and Balmoral always expected to become more important as the monarch entered her 10th decade. While Buckingham Palace contains royal apartments, it is also a government building, and may offer fewer home comforts, particularly as it undergoes a long-awaited overhaul.A £369 million ($662 million) re-servicing of the 18th-century building to update its electrical cabling, plumbing and heating, which were last replaced in the 1950s, began in April 2017. The Queen personally owns Sandringham House and Balmoral Castle. As Stellar said previously everthing else belongs to the crown.
All the Royal Family have apartments in Buckingham Palace.
The royal palaces hold the UK art treasures just like any other museum... They can't take the art treasures with them when they die nor can they bury them in pyramids.
better to give workers in the UK a decent job and than the money going towards the constant stream of illegal aliens.
it costs billions for security to keep the Bushes, the Clintons, the Obamas in the lap of Luxury until they die... monarchies on the globe are much much cheaper to keep.
You reading to many republican mags Stella??....lol

Not exactly, lol. But I am looking at the seriously wealthy compared to the rest of us. And that includes big business, the banks and govt. And the royals. Life is getting so much harder for all those poor people impacted by floods, climate change and the latest problems caused by Russia and China. On the upside - Meghan is being sued by her sister Samantha! And that's gotta be a fun show for the rest of us hoi polloi. I mean, Meghan loves suing people so to be on the other side is going to be a bit of a wake up call for her. I bet Samantha has a lot of stories to tell - and none of them fit in with Meghan's version of her past. Fun times ahead.

The rich can have reversal of fortune and the poor can and do strike it rich but do not envy the royals when they are expected to serve the public and raise money for charity, not themselves.
I have a better life than the Queen... I can do as I like and say what I want whenever I please and she cannot.
She is surrounded by nice "things" sure and the last thing this world needs is hairy hippies tracking all over her estates if the monarchy was torn down and the estates became tourist attractions..
It is a worry to me stupid Charles might change things for the worst. Certain things I don't want changed and the monarchy is one of them. I like the security, stability and comfort it brings.
Sarah, Duchess of York and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex are two cows that shouldn't be royals because they are/were troublesome over being chronic spendthrifts. They seriously lack self control in a major way. I cannot stand that Fergie ran up debt into the millions and once Harry's inheritance money is gone, Meghan will do the same too.
Those cows over the years have hurt the Royals reputation. Harry has hurt the reputation and Andrew not going to court was the worst of all but they were setting him up for jail. Still and while not proven, people will think he is guilty.
And I want to know where Giuffre gives her charity money. That low life sex trafficker said he ruined her life,...well if being happily married for 2 decades, having 3 healthy children, living in a millionaire's suburb on the beach, in one of the most beautiful cities on the planet, is "having your life ruined," then I am truly at a loss for words.
Giuffre ruined her own life getting hooked on drugs 2-3 years before meeting Epstein and running around with the wrong crowd. She is using her early life's HUGE mistakes and taking it out on everyone else, ruining theirs for good measure.
Just remember there are people out there willing to screw over the rich. And anyone with a well paying job is today's rich.

I thought he was just on stand-by? The Queen does have issues with her mobility - hence planning to have a helicopter to transport her to London. The drive apparently is too onerous for her.
But "the end is near"? That sounds ominous. She doesn't look like she's on her last legs .... if you'll pardon the pun.
