O.K. so, a really big budget sci-fi / spy action movie.
Saw a short doco on the making of it and how much they tried to avoid CGI - using real life stuff as much as possible.
e.g. crashing (well pushing) a real (scrapped) 747 into a building for example.
The writer / director - Christopher Nolan - well known for other weird movies ... Inception and Interstellar for example.
So ... took a look at the movie (on a laptop) not in an Imax cinema where it is supposed to be seen.
Even on the laptop it was impressive - great action sequences and scenery from around the globe.
Messing about with time-travel ideas again in this one - sort of with a Black American James Bond feel to it.
The lead actor is John David Washington - son of Denzel Washington - and although he doesn't look very much like his father, he has very similar speech patterns and even more spookily - the same walk as his father.
The story is hard to come to grips with ... objects and people going in reverse entropy ... Okaaaaay ...
Anyhoo, the movie is certainly spectacular if somewhat up itself and pretentious.
I kind of liked it.
Robert Pattinson is very good as is John David Washington; Elizabeth Debicki as Kat; and Kenneth Branagh as the nasty evil maniac.
Michael Caine has a bit part.
Armed with only one word, Tenet, and fighting for the survival of the entire world, a Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.
