Yes I only just saw that news alert on the news feed on my iPad. Nothing’s forever except death and taxes. The “death” thing is inevitable except for those with delusions of immortality, and even then ... The “tax” thing is also a given except for James Murdoch’s old man who believes that there’s nothing inevitable about taxes, or those “sovereign citizens” who think they can opt out of the modern state.
We’ll see what transpires as Old Man Murdoch discovers that he’s like Henry 2 and has spawned a fractious brood.
Might be time to fish out the DVD of “The Lion in Winter” with Peter O’Toole, Anthony Hopkins and Katharine Hepburn.

Henry II and good ol' Richard the Lionheart...Iconic history.
The biggest issue for James was climate change and Fox media being pro denial. What goes on in the conservative mind is puzzlingly moronic, from the neo liberal RW when 99.9% of climate scientist are forewarning about climate calamity they say we need a balanced view from the deniers...or as like Trump promoting fish tank clear hydroxychloroquine and gets one doctor of questionable background to say its good stuff while the rest of the medico's question it's use.
Such is Trumpery neo liberalism....climate deny, increase poverty, feed false medical hope and tell em lies.

Ponto, if those cockroaches had expressed themselves in those denialist terms during WW2 in relation to the danger to civilisation posed by the Axis powers and the need for sacrifices for the war effort, they would have been arrested under the War Precautions Act. They are a menace and should be dealt with accordingly.

Crikey! That sounds like something Alan Jones would say. Alan Jones and I were the only two people who got a letter from Pauline Hanson's jail cell. Not only did our letters make front page news, Stan Zemanek rang me from Sydney where I was interviewed in front of his Sydney audience. Right now I'm giving serious curry to Clive Palmer and making sure Morrison does not run the country again.

A quote from John Lord:Somewhere along the way Australia again followed America’s lead with the arrival of ‘opinion’. As staff were sacked, decreasing the ability of newspaper journalists to investigate and research they began the concept of ‘opinion writing’. Radio had been doing it for 30 years or so but the right of radio decided to go a step further, and so was born the feral shock jocks of today. Alan Jones, John Laws, Chris Smith, Ray Hadley, Stan Zemanek and not to forget the feral champion Andrew Bolt himself who has gained a foothold in all genres of media. (Although his audience is in decline). Shock jocks are usually described as broadcasters who create a large audience with untruth, exaggeration, offensiveness. They are deliberately outrageous and place ratings above common decency. Hence the term ‘feral’. They are the equivalent of the Murdoch tabloid newspaper. They are paid enormous amounts of money to be rude indecent and provocative. And do so with gusto attracting large audiences of the older demographic. Right wing shock jocks tend to push the envelope, disregarding broadcasting authorities and even the rights of the individual. Those who complain about media bias might note that the left of politics does not have a shock jock they can lay claim too. It’s not just the radio shock jocks who cast their opinions in feral fashion. It has insinuated itself into all facets of media communication.

Shock Jocks are cool. I like cheering them on when they please me and equally I like kicking them in balls when they displease me.
Radio commentators love me. I'm even known in New York on radio.

A further quote from John Lord:In order to maintain the viewer’s interest they need to progressively become more outlandish, and this is exactly what mainstream media is doing. And in the process has chosen to prostitute itself in the forlorn hope of remaining relevant. So they resort to lies and biased opinion with pursed lips. Also empowered by social media the feral right have also been given a new voice. At the zenith of her popularity Pauline Hansen(sic) received 20% of the vote. Twenty years later she is back with 500,000 supporters and backed by the feral news media. Two explanations occurred to me for the unbalanced hatred right-wing politicians and their supporters extol. Firstly, in the case of feral followers it’s the inheritance factor. Hatred is simply passed on from one generation to another. It is born of ignorance and misunderstandings. There are in my view three psychological types. Those who know. Those who know when they are shown and those who have no interest in knowing because of their inheritance of hate. They are the feral philistines.

I do not agree with Pauline on some issues but mainly she gets it right.
I supported her when she was wrongly jailed. That was a lifetime ago it seems.
I emailed every single politician in the country her letter to me and the most foul replies were from Labor... the best reply from Howard's secretary, I forget his name.
I could sink labor with the letters they sent me. What a shame labor went stupid in those times. Let's hope they've change since then.

Is Trickles your Sancho Panza? I think he’d like to be Yes ... yes!!!Keep referencing your nemesis Pimp. You can't get me out of your mind. Ruminate away Pimp. Rumination, an element of OCD*, is an unhealthy form of worrying that can lead to depression. Overthinking negative thoughts is also common in those of us who possess certain personality traits such as neuroticism. When taken to the extreme, this leads to rumination, which is the compulsive overthinking or dwelling on the negative aspects of one's past or future. This type of over-thinking is associated with obsessive tendencies and has very elevated cognitive and emotional costs. For instance, psychological research has shown that there's a link between rumination and negative psychological states, like anxiety and depression. Sooner or later, ruminators fall into an obsessive cycle of negative thoughts, which in turn lead to feelings on helplessness, guilt, anger, or regret, as well as to heightened stress and anxiety levels. * Obsessive Compulsive Dutchman.

I think Malcolm Turnbull hired Tony Nutt.
Didn’t do him (Turnbull) much good ...
Not that that’s a bad reflection on Nutt. He is a talented guy. I think he’s moved on from politics and has gone into the corporate world.

That was one of the nicer letters returned to me. The Labor pollies were seriously obnoxious about Pauline Hanson.

Well, Pauline isn’t exactly “nice” to people whose complexion she disapproves of. That is why one of her employees was an Asian and one of her One Nation people was an Australian Indigenous person. She wasn't nice to people who were given public housing and ruined it. Boo Hoo, bleeding heart. Nobody is. I happened to witness stuff like that first hand on a daily basis. Aborigines given brand new double brick and tile, 4 bedrooms x 2 bathroom homes, smashed to bits starting 10 minutes after they move in. Have you witnessed such goings-on as I have? Lemme guess. Is the answer by any chance, NO?
