You're keeping me happy. Doonesbury is one of the few faint lights in the otherwise Stygian darkness that is Trump's America that inspires a flicker of hope. Even during the darkest days of George Dubya I could console myself with the thought that America was bigger than a president like him. But Trump is something else again. He is worse than the dystopia portrayed in House of Cards. One is put in mind of the opening credits of each episode in which a lengthening dark shadow envelops Washington and the US flag is upside down as a flag of distress. Keep the Doonesbury coming.
