.....is what probably caused the primitive savages who wrote the religious books (bible, koran, etc.) to dream up the concept of hell (and a devil residing therein). They saw lava and their primitive, superstitious minds thought their god delusion created it to punish intelligent human beings who refused to believe the god delusion bullshit. And so the legendary tall tale of hell & satan was born.

Not so primitive. They could read and write and had a rich language with imagery, poetry, word play and puns. Not so savage - our law system is still based largely on the teaching of times.

Yes... Nothing inspires confidence in one's position than starting a diatribe with the word "probably"
Ignore the flamebait.

Please post it for all to see. Pffft! ...Is the onus is really on me to disprove the suppositions YOU fudged to troll this thread? I'll Pass. It's not my job to shut down your opinion. Surely you can't believe humanity is solely the ultimate expression of intelligence in the universe? If so, the delusion is yours.

So the Australia's First People deserve, at best, your patronising racist condescension for their Dreaming which informs and governs their relationship with the land - or "country" as they call it. And that includes rocks, waterways, hills, valleys etc etc. Or at worst your scorn, ridicule, disrespect and racist contempt. According to your "logic", "civilised" whitefellas should resume asap the old programme of taking indigenous kids away from their parents before they get into all this "Dreaming" stuff.

Do those figures in that cartoon look like “darkies”? Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No you don't get away with that red herring. It's an old trick: waste time and invent a distraction by pretending to take the point over-literally when in fact the point of your silly cartoon was a general one about so-called "primitive" people and spirituality and how it relates to religion today. It wasn't about their skin colouring and you know it. You're the one making the racist connection and that's your problem. But both the cartoon and you - since you posted it to make your fatuous and spurious "point" - show a deep and revealing ignorance about the spirituality of First People which is a better word than "primitive" even though "primitive" contains the element "prime" which means "first". First People on the other hand isn't negatively loaded. First People wherever they are express their relationship with the land through a deep and rich spirituality which in fact gives the lie to your racist cartoon. You're more of a racist bigot than you think!

....but the religionists weren't clever because they believed that god delusion inside their heads. So what evidence do you have that your perceptions are consistent with base reality? You can't assert one belief is true, and the other false, lest they are subject to the same criteria.

Absence of beng able to see, hear, touch, taste, feel, measure, or mathematically calculate means the probability leans extremely strongly to it being non-existant....ie., delusional bullshit.

So the only reality is empirical as far as you're concerned. Descartes would have disagreed with you. So would Voltaire or any other philosopher, scientist or mathematician of note. Certainly Newton would have thought your "empirical only and exclusively" is codswallop.
You know what, KTJ? You're boring. You've been trolling the Religion Board for all these years and you don't say anything new. It's boring to be continually going over the same ground. Give it away. Go and drive a train or something.

You religionists who claim your god is real without any proof have been advocating that bullshit for years and years and years without any proof whatsoever.
It's boring to watch you theists go over and over and over that bullshit over many years without proof.
If faith is all you need, then hey, I'm a magician who is going to save the earth when it all turns to shit. Now either have faith I am who I say I am or PROVE me wrong.

Do you even realize you are contradicting yourself? Intelligence exist, ergo there is precedent for even greater Intelligence in the universe. There is your evidence for God.

That isn't PROOF. That is just the workings of a simple mind inventing a god delusion because you need a crutch to lean on.

I never made any mention of 'proof', I said 'evidence'. (The difference between proof and evidence is dependent solely on verdict.)
Who decides what proof is, or isn't? There is no experience or mathematical equation for the Laws of Logic, KTJ.
I'm not interested in polemics, I am here for a discussion.

Occam, with KTJ you're dealing with a troll whose denial of nuance and subtlety, irony and paradox is as one-eyed and simplistic as the most fundamentalist flat earth obscurantist or climate change denier. He'll always troll the religion board with his mantras and insults and will never be capable of getting past the most infantile first principles. Bear that in mind as you "debate" him.
