Just across SH2 from Petone railway station in the Wellington area (photograph taken yesterday while the train I was driving was stopped at Petone). No doubt, many of those rooms you see under construction will be used to brainwash bullshit into the minds of impressionable children before they get old enough to realise that religion is bullshit.

This morning was the first Sunday morning I have worked since that fundy mega-church opened.
So as I drove a train past heading out of Petone (the last stop before Wellington), the happy-clappies were streaming out of their cars and into their new mega church.
However, what stood out like sore toes was the security guards outside the church and in the carpark adjacent to the church (which is actually a free park & ride carpark owned by Greater Wellington Regional Council for Monday-to-Friday commuters to use to park their cars before catching the train into Wellington).
Which begs the question....why would happy-clappies need security guards outside their church services? What are they scared of? Satan? Hilarious, eh?
The security guards were from Armourguard Security.
Obviously the delusional folks who attend Arise Church at Petone don't have faith that their imaginary god will protect them from bogeymen.

Perhaps there is a disconnect between how God actually is; and how you erroneously surmise Him to be. "For He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Matthew 5:44-46 ...Or is this how you actually picture us:

Sounds very much like a Deist delusion rather than a Theist delusion. Delusion all the same. All very well to "know when a sparrow falls" ... if you don't (can't) do anything about it? ... well, what's the point? I suppose if your * life is crap then you need to make excuses for your * imaginary friend. * This is a figurative "your" I'm not referring to any individual. Well you see, there is the fallacy of the human ego rearing it's ugly head again; Maybe it isn't all about 'us.' Maybe we are here to accomplish God's Will, rather than He stepping out of His way to accomplish ours. We don't see the bigger picture, maybe we are due some suffering so we can experience true joy. After all, everyone of us has a 3 ton pile of shit waiting for us at the end of this life; some of us just get to theirs earlier. But I'd prefur to be in God's wake, than in His way.
