I said about 3 weeks ago that I find it unusual that Luke is not in any of the promo vids, not on the cover etc. I think he is the Sith. Let's wait and see shall we

Luke, I am your father luke, you turned me back from the dark side, and you repay me by doing this ? I could still be alive today if you had have joined the sith in the first place you little ungrateful brat.

The young woman in it would have to be his daughter too.

I saw ti today in 3D. It was GREAT. 10/10... oh and I was wrong It is still so very Star Wars not over done in any way at all. I got goosebumps when the music started.

We saw it tonight in the local cinema in Jindabyne. I counted a dozen in what was a large auditorium. And this was only the second night. I would have expected the cinema to be packed. I'm sorry but I was underwhelmed by the movie. Once I got over the realisation of how much we've all aged just by looking into Harrison Ford's wizened features as Han Solo, it seemed to me to be wallowing in Star Wars nostalgia leavened by lots of biffo and large explosions.

This movie was setting it up for the next one. It was a welcome back.

I enjoyed the first two movies back when they came out...groundbreaking for its time. Then came the prequels , the sequels, the interquels and it became a bloody mess (don't mention Jar Jar Binks)
I'm sorry, but I have zero interest in seeing this latest installment

The prequels were okay but I agree, Jar Jar Binks was a mistake. The Force Awakens is very good and far more like the first movie though special effects are no doubt better.

Domhall Gleeson stood out as General Hux. I love this actor and look forward to seeing this character progress into a super baddy
