Don't waste your time ... Theists are ipso facto delusional. A priori, I find your posts to be ad hoc

How about a simple task. Tell us how penguins got onto Noah's ark They swam? Into a desert from the Antarctic? Only someone without a grip on reality would believe that!

Faith doesn't require you to know everything is 100% true; it's only a starting point from which to proceed. Only the truly stupid as well as gullible simpletons have blind faith in unproven stuff.

I can travel through time. Now DISPROVE IT or it is 100% gospel true. I don't need to disprove it. I agree with you. Look at your watch, wait five minutes then check it again. And if I travel back (or foward) through time and pop up at the exact same time on a different date and year, then what will that prove?
DUMBARSE....

Slarti I must confess I'd never taken much notice of your sig: "Not all conservatives are stupid, but all stupid people are conservatives." Are you being serious or just flippant? Do you really "believe" that? It's relevant to the thread. It really is because it goes to your motivations for your regular interventions on the Religion Board. Such as on this thread.
(Oops! Sorry KTJ for using the "B" word. I realise you're heavily into empiricism and I did honestly try to explore and unpack that sort of stuff with you but you made it quite clear that you loved your ignorance too much to let it be spoiled with inconvenient rationalism or boring intuitive or deductive bullshit)

No intervention by me, I started this topic. And whilst my signature may appear flippant, I don't doubt its accuracy. Abbott, Bush and the like fit in perfectly well.

I can think of decisions taken by the Greens that have been unutterably stupid. Such as their vote against the ETS that entrenched Tony Abbott's leadership and effectively doomed Australia to the insanity of Rudd/Gillard/Rudd/Abbott. If they'd voted for the ETS Australia would have had an emissions trading scheme in place for 5 years now, Abbott would never have become PM, and neither would Gillard, and Kevin Rudd would still be prime minister of Australia.
Similarly there was the Greens opportunism in blocking with the Liberals to vote down the Malaysia deal concerning boat people.
It's the basic stupidity of the lollipop left to allow their own brand of political correctness to make the "perfect" (or their version of it) the enemy of the "good".

I don't disagree that they were stupid decisions. But which politician hasn't made a decision that has benefited them rather than the electorate?

You'll be waiting a long time. This monkey doesn't dance, just because you ask him to. The monkey has no answer to the lies in his precious book Conjecture aside. You didn't get what you want. That is sufficient for me. I win. You've already decided for yourself a priori, that it's a lie. I can't rely on you to consider my explanation objectively. If you are unwilling to consider other views, why should I be obligated to provide them? Conversation over, as far as I'm concerned.

And now my reply gets deleted. Welcome back to fascism where alternativev views are verboten. Yep....when that Canadian religious idiot starts losing an argument, he abuses his moderator's powers and reverts to the delete button. I've noticed in the past he has a tendency to attempt to win arguments that way.

BTW....I've taken (and saved) a screenshot of the above reply so if the Canadian religious idiot deletes it, then attempts to deny it existed, I'll simply post the screenshot to rub it in his theist face.

Just brilliant! You can't (won't) answer a supposedly simple question for someone of your deemed intellect. (This was pretty much word for word what I said and got deleted) This time I too have taken a copy.

Slarti I realise the thread has moved on since our earlier exchange, but I've just arrived in Jindabyne having driven down from Canberra. I don't disagree that they were stupid decisions. But which politician hasn't made a decision that has benefited them rather than the electorate? That's not the same as saying that "Not all conservatives are stupid, but all stupid people are conservatives"

You don't have to be stupid to make a stupid decision. Case in fact, YOU are not stupid. Have you ever done anything you now regret doing?
