There was atime when the US had a socialist heart, then came Mc McCarthyism, then came reality TV that gave the US president Trump...a failing business person TV turned into looking like a narcistic, no nonsense successful billionaire, which is a lie and not the real Trump....apart from being narcistic.

I like Trump. I find him very, very amusing. I like that he says stupid things and I like how the comedians wind him up over said stupid things. I like that he is a frank talker. <<<< that in my mind is a HUGE plus. He has a good look about him and incongruous Joe Biden looks like a weasel quite frankly. Hilary doesn't like Biden and thinks he should not have run. So there you go. I do not like that Trump was lied about over the Russian election interference. They wasted so much time and money over it. Probably enough money to vaccinate the 3 rd World with the Triple Antigen shots or something. American elections are stupid. They go on far too long, only very wealthy people run and too many trolls tell too many lies. And yes, I actually know said trolls like Gunzablazin' who was written about in the New York Times spreading said lies.

Trump is a reality show charlatan....what you see is not the real Trump, its an act.
What he is..(no laughing matter)..a very dangerous megalomaniac.
With Biden its policies....policies that don't evoke killing the planet as neoliberalism will with their destructive policies.

He bent over backwards to appease his "enemies" like Rocket Man and the Chinese government. Hilary wanted to war with Russia. Trump wants to strike deals. I don't know how much you actually see. You might READ a lot but I watch the players and what comes out of their mouths. I'm not susceptible to commentary that OUR media likes to blather about how useless Trump is. The world is buggered, Trump didn't do that, ALL mankind did that. I don't think he is dangerous at all. I fear Pence actually. Once Pence takes over, watch the abortion laws in the States reverse. PENCE is the danger man especially to the female population with his born again Christian crap.

You seem to have missed Trump is repealing all environmental protection laws letting industry and business make their own rules with pollution, he is also destroying National Parks and protected areas.
Trump is a neoliberal and being a neoliberal they have the thinking that the environment will not harm humans, and why they were quick to blame Covid-19 on being man made...they could not accept that the virus is natural.
That neoliberal thinking is dangerous ideology, and Clinton could not have gone to war with Russia without the consent of congress...what your saying is just RW propaganda, she did not decalre wanting war, she stated getting tough on Russia and its dodgy machinations. Russia claims to have a covid vaccine....if it has its because of hacking countries research. Putin is a neo-liberal.
You can see now how Trump is trying his best to destroy the postal vote..Trump does not hold democracy values he is more akin to an authoritarian dictator.
Biden is old yet he is the last chance president to un-bugger the world.... as another Trump term will surely kill the planet, the final nail in the coffin....and you thinking he is not dangerous means you have lost your neoliberal politic.

Your hatred for Dumbo Trump is clouded.
You see two sides of politics, left and right.
The two sides of politics I see is, them and us.
I actually think the Russians do have a vaccine. Just an instinctive feeling on my part. Nothing concrete.

Your hatred for Dumbo Trump is clouded. You see two sides of politics, left and right. The two sides of politics I see is, them and us. I realise that’s addressed to Ponto but I’ll put in my tuppence ha’penny’s worth: as regards the US elections I think you make a valid point about seeing it as “them and us”. The question I ask about the US elections is “what’s in it for us?” Personally I agree with every criticism Ponto makes about Trump. A news alert just came through on my iPad saying that Trump has just given the go ahead for oil and gas exploration to take place in the Arctic. How wonderful for the planet. Should we be pleased? The guy is a menace both to the planet and to the international order. There’s a good side to “drain the swamp” and “shake up the cosy world of international diplomacy” but ok now that he’s had his 4 years of shit stirring can we have a bit of a break? Re-electing Trump is tantamount to voting for permanent revolution, or chaos if you like. Not sure that’s in everyone’s interest. Having said all that, I don’t believe a Biden presidency will bring World Peace and a Millennium of the Green New World Order. What’s more a Biden presidency isn’t going to bring about an America that is at peace with itself, where conspiracy theorists are no longer taken seriously and where sensible gun laws have been enacted and accepted. I also don’t believe a Biden presidency is going to be any easier on Australia as regards American pressure on Australia to support them on China. Pine Gap will still be there spying on all and sundry and economically when America sneezes we’ll still catch a cold. If by “them and us” you mean that we’re not Americans and we have our own interests to defend then sure! I agree! I wouldn’t have the faintest idea whether they have a vaccine or not. Sounds a bit quick for me given the amount of testing that has to take place before it’s judged to be safe as well as effective. Then once that happens it isn’t a case of snap-your-fingers-and-there’s-plenty-for-everyone. Manufacturing, distribution networks ... why should Australia get it before Bangladesh? And as far as testing is concerned there should be no shortcuts and no cutting corners in a “race” to be “first”. Those who forget the thalidomide tragedy are condemned to repeat it.
