I have downloaded an app onto the iPad, not naming names, but it allows me to 'Tune In' to thousands of international stations around the world which I stream via Bluetooth to the home sound system. What a marvellous thing! BBC world service, SomaFm for some chill, dedicated jazz stations from New Orleans... the list is endless! Anyone else a fan?

I'll have to check what mine provides too, EG. They already allow ABC iView unmetered use age...a bonus!
(Later...) Just checked my ISP unmetered stations...a lot of those I am streaming now are on the list...for free!
Thanks for the tipoff EG!

I've actually got a Sony stereo system at home that has internet radio built-in to the tuner. It accesses the internet via my home WiFi network.

That's becoming standard on new systems...I think it's brilliant! Commercial radio here in Aus has a lot to learn re quality programmng

The Tune In app is wonderful, has BBC and almost every other radio station available on it.
Plus it is free.

Yes Matt...that's the one I have too, and then found Internode have a heap of stations in common (and app to go with it) that you can stream unmetered (providing you are a subscriber to their ISP service, of course)
