He has his own religion, apparantly.

Of course he was, there is no evidence to back up his theories.

The evidence, for Darwins theory is overwhelming, unlike any religion, which operates with no evidence at all other than a stupid old book full of fiction and lies. Overstated, IMO. Do you have evidence for that belief, or is it simply a verdict you drew from the evidence available?

Of course he was, there is no evidence to back up his theories. What a stupid statement. There is plenty of evidence to back up Darwin's theories. Ever heard of DNA? The evidence for evolution is based on four provable series of events: a. the fossil record of change in earlier species. b. the chemical and anatomical similarities of related life forms. c. the geographic distribution of related species. d. the recorded genetic changes in living organisms over many generations. Prove to us that woman was created from man's rib. Now there's a challenge that Kanucklehead couldn't prove on the last board.

You atheists really do make me laugh. You get so hung up on the small difficulties, that you are blind to the big picture.
It's not about where you came from, it's about where you are going.

The big picture is that if there is just ONE lie in the bible, it makes the whole book unbelievable. Unfortunately fo you, there's a hell lot more than just ONE lie in the bible.

The evidence for the Evolution of Species by Natural Selection is overwhelming. What part of that sentence do you NOT understand? If the point is weak, repeat until considered 'strong'. Optionally, use Caps for emphasis.

Therein lies your dichotomy, buzzock. You percieve this as a battle, I see it as a mercy.
I think you'll find few recruits for your cause, no one wants to fight a battle that'll leave them in a more diminished position than when they started.
And that's all atheism has to offer.

We should call you Cardinal Fang, the Jesuit Inquisitor. It is a battle old friend and although you are on the other side fighting a losing cause, I have nothing but admiration for you. You are fighting a magnificent rear-guard action, you will lose of course, Christianity will soon be gone, but you will fight to the last. You are magnificent in defeat. If it pleases you to believe that, Buzzock. But I am still not your enemy.

You are the enemy of civilisation, fighting to perpetuate and propagate the falshood that is religion. I wish I could question Bill Nye on the point he makes about how not believing in evolution, somehow correlates to subsequent lack of scientists and engineers in the future? That's a logical fallacy known as a 'non-sequitur.'

The Jesuit Cardinal Fang speaks. Casuistry - specious, deceptive, or oversubtle reasoning, especially in questions of morality; fallacious or dishonest application of general principles; sophistry. That resembles you, more than I.

Darwin's Origin of Species was published on Nov 24, 1859. Here it is more than 150 years later, with mountains of subsequent research and insights since then which have built on and deepened Darwin's work - not forgetting either the seminal work done contemporaneously with and independently of Darwin by Alfred Wallace, the value and importance of which was recognised by Darwin himself - with an Australian university named after Charles Darwin in recognition and in honour of his work, and with an Australian city named after him, and still the obscurantists cavil and quibble, and spread their snake oil and voodoo theology.
I'll give this to them: they're tenacious.
The tenacity of ignorance. Sounds like the title of a book, dunnit! One of those catchy phrases like ... I dunno ... the banality of evil perhaps?

How can Darwins theory of evolution possibly compete with stuff like this LOL ;D
The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, `Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners."' But wisdom is proved right by her actions."
Matthew 11:19
11 When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: 12 Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.
Deuteronomy 25:11-12
30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave. 31 One day the older daughter said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is no man around here to lie with us, as is the custom all over the earth. 32 Let's get our father to drink wine and then lie with him and preserve our family line through our father." 33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and lay with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up. 34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger, "Last night I lay with my father. Let's get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and lie with him so we can preserve our family line through our father." 35 So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went and lay with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up. 36 So both of Lot's daughters became pregnant by their father. 37 The older daughter had a son, and she named him Moab [1] ; he is the father of the Moabites of today. 38 The younger daughter also had a son, and she named him Ben-Ammi [2] ; he is the father of the Ammonites of today.
Genesis 19:30-38
4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom--both young and old--surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them." 6 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him 7 and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing. 8 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don't do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof."
Genesis 19:4-8
25 In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an evil spirit came and fell at his feet. 26 The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter. 27 "First let the children eat all they want," he told her, "for it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."
Mark 7:25-27
10 When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the Lord thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, 11 And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; 12 Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare [2] her nails; 13 And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife. 14 And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.
Deuteronomy 21:10-14
15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated: 16 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn: 17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.
Deuteronomy 21:15-17
13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, 14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: 16 And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; 17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; 19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. 20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: 21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.
Deuteronomy 22:13-21
1 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord. 2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.
Deuteronomy 23:1
If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.
Leviticus 20:10
