I don't know what social circles you hang out in but the gays I know are all healthy, happy, many in committed relationships and some (Gasp!) even have kids who they have raised successfully. If it suits your agenda to think of gays as Mardi Gras mincy boys having indiscriminate sex who are all doomed then go ahead if it makes you feel good about yourself but in the mainstream, that is far from the broader demographic. |

I've read surveys that showed that the majority of relationships these days have at least tried anal sex once.
I personally find oral sex more disgusting than anything else. I never perform it. Also Matt, the bible says do not talk to a woman when she is menstruating, nothing about sex. Considering many women are 'on heat' so to speak, or really horny when menstruating, it would be a letdown for some women who like sex during their period. Sensations/blood circulation is stronger there during a period so.....

It's interesting that the lollipop "soft" left such as the Greens find themselves lining up with people like Geert Wilders and the late Pim Fortuyn. It was demand by the anti Muslim immigration crowd in the Netherlands that candidates for naturalisation as Dutch citizens had to pass a test to show that they were familiar with ... wait for it ... not sporting legends but liberal social laws in the Netherlands, such as the right gay couples to marry.
It's a classic case of the "soft" lollipop left getting its politics so mixed up that it forms a common front with the bigots and xenophobes of the extreme right.
The plain fact is that marriage as an institution is held in contempt on the genuine Marxist left. The feminist mothers of those young political lesbians today who demonstrate for "marriage rights" with bridal veils rejected marriage as part of patriarchal oppression.
So the fact that the so-called "soft" Left agitate to extend an institution that they are supposed to reject to a group of people who don't need it only demonstrates the absolute ratbaggery and political bankruptcy of the Greens and their hangers-on.
I support gay marriage as a conservative reform. And Sarah Hanson-Young is a ratbag.
