I am complaining about you Labor losers - having just had the worst defeat in 100 years - are whining all the time like mules
I am sick of it - it will not change the government nor the PM - it just makes everyone fed up to the back teeth

Rather than whining about the Liberal Government, fix the corruption in the Labor Party because they just had the worst loss in 100 years.
Labor is rotten to the core.

'The lease was signed on August 31 - a bit over a week before the election.
Imagine the department’s horror, then, when ‘‘stop the waste’’ Abbott became PM and decided he didn’t want to occupy the place, preferring to store his pushbike in a little room with a single bed at the police college a suburb away'
Didn't some one have the guts tell Rudd there was 1 in 1000 chance that Abbott might win & thus he should be consulted? "caretaker convention etc ".
Where was Wong? Where was Bowen? Asleep or just protecting their pension?
Poor Slarti & Geo, They got excited by Abbott over changing $11,000 travel expenses yet their pin up boy Rudd commits the taxpayer to a $13,000 plus per month residence & not a whimper.
So Abbot IS responsible for Rudd's mistakes. Or is some one going to say Rudd would let a decision like his Canberra residence be handled by a junior civil servant?

If you read the article properly, you would discover that Rudd had nothing to do with it. On August 31, the Government would have been in caretaker mode.

Slarti yeah right.

So slarti do YOU really think a control freak like Rudd would allow a junior choose HIS home? Do you really think any one on this board would believe that YOU would allow some employee choose YOUR home?
Come on sunshine trooly rooly??
OR do you subscribe to the theory that a minister (or Prime Minister in this case)isn't responsible for what happens in his ministerial office?

Do you have any proof that Rudd even knew about this? He was campaigning at the time, in case you'd forgotten. Oh, and yes, you did once ignore the word "Caretaker".
I see you also ignored this:
The head of the government's border protection regime has admitted Australia has not bought a single boat under the Coalition's controversial Indonesian boat buy-back policy.
Why?

Since Indonesia is supposedly well off now, how much aid have they sent to the Philippines?
Does anyone know?

Abbotts has stuffed with Indonesia......here comes de boats..what a knucklehead, all he had to do was apologise and say it didn't start on his watch.
Wages haven't increased for your avg worker since 1999 given inflation and cost of living factors yet salaries for the big end of town bosses have risen exponentially to ridiculous amounts as salaries...and Abbott wants to reduce workers wages.
Coupled with his plans to take away school bonuses and the co super contribution benefit for the workers, dare say Abbott is looking like a one term government, if the people wake up to the fact red necks are not what we need for a government.

Now after the election the Abbott government and Pyne has revealed they will go back to the Howard model of education funding, where the elite private schools get the best of tax payer funding and the public sector can get screwed....no wonder the conservatives on this board are denying they voted for Abbott for the obvious hypocrisy and blatant dishonesty he has shown the people, and no surprises there and the agenda was forecasted, those that voted for Abbott must indeed feel gullible and angry to have trusted the conservatives.
Work choices up next folks..dear oh dear why couldn't the Labor party just keep its shit together to keep these conservative mongrels out, furking Julia and her ..'Aw we are not a socialist paaarty ...we arrrre a union party', ..well hope they have learnt their lesson.

This country6 needs better than average otherwise it will face a bleaker future. We will fall behind and our living standards will decline and probably the average Joe won't give a stuff, but future generations could rue the day we elected this idiotic mob.

I just fired off an email to Mr Pyne. This is supposed to be a "no surprises" government whose hallmarks were to be "transparency" and "openness". Mt Pyne has just given the Abbott Government its "Julia Gillard moment" where you deliver exactly the opposite of what you solemnly promised before the election.
I was polite and expressed myself in temperate terms. I gave him my postal address to establish my bona fides. I know how these "letters from voters" work, having worked as a volunteer in Labor MPs offices. The details of the letter/email/telephone call goes onto a data base and it assists the MP in building up a profile of the electorate. One email will make zero difference. Thousands of like emails will at least convey to him that this sort of caper carries with it a heavy political cost. Ask Julia Gillard.

Right now we're still far too busy ruing the 2007-2013 Labor flipwits who created this mess and these problems, after being handed a nice little boat in good shape. and we're going to rue them for a long time, even though Abbott will be a very successful government. the bitter twisted haters and spoilers like Geopol who loathe and want to destroy every aspect of this country (besides the bits that put value in his Super) will not succeed and not make a difference electorally, because the flipwits all already voted for the outgoing defeated-routed-rabble anyway.
