I'm going to check out “Fresh Meat” next week. It's a NZ movie about a bunch of hoods who carry out a home invasion on a middle-class Maori family....and then discover the family are cannibals and they (the home invaders) are on the menu. Directed by Danny Mulheron and starring Temuera Morrison (of Jake the Muss fame). It should be a bit of a hoot.

Wouldn't the Maori be upset with that notion? Being cast as cannibals? Have there been any protests? It does sound like fun though!

I think we are all potential cannibals really, I was talking about this with my daughter the other day and she said I'd rather die than eat human flesh but if it really came down to a choice between death and snacking out on dead human not many people would choose death, remember that plane crash in the Andes where the survivors chowed down on their fellow passengers, not one of them chose death but I bet a lot of them would have said I'd rather be dead than eat human flesh before they were put in that situation.

That “Fresh Meat” was a real classic (I've just got back from the cinema).
Part horror movie, part splatter movie, part comedy.
Absolutely brilliant acting from Temuera Morrison....he's a real NZ icon.
